Slow play and slow greens no clubhouse saw cart girl once in a 5.5 hour round.

The fairways and greens are outstanding. The intermediate rough needs to be groomed a little better. Lost balls due to thickness of rough. Found ourselves backed up on hole 6. One 4some on green, 2 in the fairway, we were on T box. Called clubhouse looking for ranger. Took us 5 hours to play round.

The course does not have any picturesque fairways or holes to make you want to come back.Very slow pace with the course filled with beginner golfers who do not understand golf estique and keeping the pace of play moving.

Starter put us on back nine first which we played in an hour and half. We then caught up to all the beginners on the front nine. It took 2 hours to complete five holes. We just called it a day after teeing off the fifth hole. It would have most likely taken another hour and half to finish the last four holes.

You be better off playing at Arrowhead or Valencia. I would not nor would my partner play this course again.

This is our third time to play this course. It's beautiful. Starters are really nice. Plenty of access to water, nice bathrooms on course. Forward tee boxes are beautifully maintained like all the others. Perfect for my wife who plays occasionally and for me (daily golfer)

My friend recommended this course since it is just opened to the public. I had a wonderful experience playing there although the course is longer than others that I've played. I was pleased to be able to practice all facets of my game in a relaxed atmosphere.

Overall course conditions were excellent. Huge rolling greens were quite slow and not very consistent. Lots of tees to match anyone's game. We paid $20 more than our partners but still thought it was a good value. Did not enjoy the long rides from green to tee. Will definitely play again.

Fairways are wide, bunkers should not come into play for most of us, and the abundant ponds are not significant hazards from the forward tees. The course is in perfect condition from tees to greens. Chipping greens, practice green, and driving range are available. A cart is essential because the course sprawls over a vast area. Distances between many greens and the next tee are enormous.

We were paired with a member, making our round very relaxing and enjoyable. His advice was extremely valuable on several holes, especially on five, a hole that almost everyone can hit their drive through the dogleg.

The course's main defenses are the undulating greens and the Bermuda grass rough. The undulations look intimidating, and they are. Luckily the greens are only moderately fast. The Bermuda grass rough doesn't look so bad at first glance, but it can and will swallow a ball. Getting it out is not a sure thing.

The course was exceptional and I'll definitely go back

E informed that it was cart paths only. The walk back and forth to your ball was substantial as the course is wide and there were very few yardage markers when you got to your ball. After playing 8 holes I called the pro shop to see if I could get an handicap flag as the walk was causing a lot of hip pain. I was informed that they could not give me handicap flag and I had to quit after 9 holes. They did offer a 9 hole replay but not a refund credit to my charge card

Esplanade is a newer course with lots of homes going in, but don't let that deter you -- this is a FINE course! Played it after some strong rains, so it was cart path only and greens were a little slow as a result. But I didn't catch a bad lie all day and conditions were generally superb. Clubhouse is likely 1-2 months away. Will play over and over until season starts!

This course has lots of potential. A good layout overall, great surroundings and decent management. What it was lacking was fast greens. The greens were well filled in and smooth; however, they were putting at 7 on the stimp meter. None of us could consistently get the ball to the hole. Short was the motto of the day.

The course layout is a challenging resort layout. Wide fairways with light rough, but water comes into play on several holes. The bunkers were generally not in play but did frame the holes nicely. They are still building out the amenities and housing but none of this came into play. There are better, more challenging courses in the area for the same or less money available. But If you don't mind slower greens, this is definitely a course you want to play.

I always enjoy stopping at this course when I am in town, the layout is very playable and the staff is great. They know how make us keep coming back, keep up the good work. Thank you

I have played course several times. Course in great shape, got out on time, steady pace of play. Look forward to playing again.

Every thing was great here- staff, course, pace of play, etc. The pro (sorry I wish I had gotten his name) really helped us out! I made the mistake of getting there at 9:45am when my tee time was 9:22am! He started us on 10 between a tournament and regular play! You cannot ask for any thing better than that! The staff had ice and 2 bottles of water in the cooler! This was great because it was hotter than "H" in Florida in August! Index about 100.5!!! Plenty of bathrooms with ice machines! This was a very pleasant surprise! The only marginal thing was the price at $59.00 @ person plus tax! This also came with rang balls!

Great course. will be disappointed when it finally goes private.

Good balance of water, sand, open space

We played this golf course under very nice weather conditions despiteit was late in the season. The course is reqlly nice but de all the condo is under construction so no real club house and no nice view around the golf course.

So in several months or year it will be a very nice place, but now just come here to play golf.

Water in cart was a nice touch, especially on a hot day. We were not told greens had just been plugged when we made our tee time. Decent course but still surrounded by construction (especially the back nine). Water hazards not a problem, but a few challenging sand traps will require some planning on the fairways.

First time playing here and I have to say it was very enjoyable. Plenty of room off the tee so even if you miss a little bit you'll still be in good shape. You can tell within a few years they are going to be a ton of houses around this place so enjoy the open landscape while you can. Not a huge fan of the greens in my opinion they are too undulated therefore they can't be too fast otherwise they are unputtable like old corkscrew. But the layout is scenic and fun

Had to wait 15 minutes to get a cart. Staff was not very welcoming. I work I. The industry and this would never fly at my club. The golf course was in good shape with a nice layout. I suggest when playing there to pack a lunch if hungry. Charging $14 for a hot dog and a fountain drink is absurd. Y'all should be ashamed of yourselves.
