Esplanade Golf and Country Club of Naples

Went out as a twosome. Could have played in 3 1/2 hours if the idiot foresome would let us play through. No clue as to course ethics. Open hole ahead of them. No Marshalls in sight and that was very disappointing.

Great track

They just topdressed the back nine but the greens still rolled well running at 11.5.

One needs to play this course a few times to know when the fairway traps come into play on your tee ball.

Play this track if you can while it is still public.

Course opened since 4 years will be 5 in March.

The amenities and the staff are not up too par for suche a course.

Pro shop just ipened

Upon arrival, we eere told that there weren’t enough carts (?!)and they could drive us with bags to driving rsnge, which is a lake..

We wsnted to freshen up to have a drink at the Community «  Bahama Bar » . Nothing to do with Golf course.

No lockers available , we had to used washrooms , only 2 avalable. Inside and outside Staff was using ssme washrooms?!

At 6pm Pro shop door was locked and I couldn’t get back in , my wife was in washroom, the attendantvwas closing display lights without checking if any customers were still inside.

Under coordination of staff, for a 5 year course the customer reception and overall feel is way from being unsurpassed

Course is in great shape. Spent a nice morning playing. It is still in development stages and buildings/homes are not complete in areas. The community itself is beautiful.

I would return but would like to see some daily special prices while in new stages.

We played at around 6,000 yds. Perfect for low or higher handicappers. The course condition is excellent, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The greens are fast and undulating. I will definitely be back!

This was round 4/4 of our weeklong stay in Naples. Overall, the course was excellent - wide fairways, good greens (I am aure they are great and usually quicker, but they had just applied some product and don’t think they were cut that day). We played as a foursome in under 4.5 hours. Bang for your buck...this was #2 (close #1) out of the 4 courses played during the week. Free range balls were appreciated :) Price paid: $75 Hot Deals

The club is well maintained and feels “open” as does the service ethic and the people that deliver it; very welcoming/refreshing....

The facilities are great and the range is spacious...you can feel free to concentrate and seek improvement.

I will certainly return to Esplanade....at any price.

The course is nice and I was very fortunate to get paired with two friendly guys who also happened to be good golfers. I found the staff to be excellent and the starter was one of the best anywhere. He knew how to keep things moving. Other than fertilizer on some of the greens, the course was nice. It was worth the $100 and I would play there again.

We're told by the ranger on hole number 13 that we were six minutes behind. We picked up our balls and moved on and were held back for the remaining holes. Very discourteous.
