Bonita National Golf & Country Club

Second time playing Bonita National. Very player friendly. Only waited on one occasion. Played 18 in 3:15 with 3 players. Beautiful homesites on back 9.

I liked the course. I played well with the layout. The cypress swamp around much of the course is very nice, a lot of natural bird sounds which I liked. Pace of play was excellent. They are still in construction so they don't really have a place to grab a bite or drink afterword.

Staff was okay - not a very warm greeting from the pro - granted I wasn't a member and some of these courses could care less about the weekend warriors. Also, no cart lady came around. Not even once and its a hot day. I paid less to play Heritage Bay and the ranger came around and provided Ice towels. You didn't even see a ranger on the course at all. It must of been just lucky the pace was fast because all somewhat good players were out around my time.

There is tons of construction around the course. The fairways are very generous. There are only a couple of moderately long carries off the tee. The par 5's are short and rip for birdies.

Water hazards full to the brim, some trees down but not on fairways, great drainage of rain water. Practice facilities running normally. Sand hazards in very good shape.

Bonita National is a challenging, but fair track You will use every club in your bag and suffer lost strokes with each mis-hit shot.

Course is in great shape, but the greens were just plugged and they were tough to putt. Give it a few weeks and it will be nice.

Excellent course conditions but pace of play was slow

Construction going on everywhere with a decent course around it.

Outstanding off season course. Slightly dry to seasonal aeration but the greens were surprisingly slow. Very getable and fun.

Around the greens were rough. Cart paths were rough. Just felt like it should of been better firva nice area and the regular price that they ask for.

Course was in not so good condition. Very plain course layout. Straight up and back with not much interest. Fairway wide and open. Lots of room between holes.

Wait a couple of weeks and the fairway will be green und not brown.

course layout is expansive, and although there is a ton of construction going on, it's not intrusive.

course is in great shape, and the bar area outside for postround is top notch.

make the drive, you won't be disappointed.

The course was in excellent condition. Fairways setting ball up very well. Greens were tricky but could be read. Matching line with speed required to make putts.

Clubhouse is under construction as are home around the course. They did not hinder golfing.

Very nice course but has a ton of construction going on. New clubhouse being built will make it that much better. No beverage cart on the course the day I played due to lack of staff.

Enjoyed the layout of this fun but challenging course

The course is in awesome shape. I really enjoyed my round and shot the best I have (37) on the front nine in a very long time. But it didn't last, we made it only to the 11th hole and then the skies opened up with downpours and a lot of lightning. So we had to cut it short. I definitely want to go back and play the whole course.
