ChampionsGate Country Club

As a 4 handicap I tend to only play high quality golf courses. This is definitely one of them. Starting with the staff greeting us at the bag drop to the turkey sandwich at the turn. And let’s not forget about the course. The layout was challenging but fair. Fairways and greens were in great shape. We will be back in January and this course is on the must play list for Orlando.

Great bunkers. I found most every green side bunker. The consistency of the bunkers made sand play much easier. Staff seemed to truly care about my experience. Although I’ve only played this course once, the tee boxes can completely change how to play this course. Can’t wait to return next vacation to play this course.

Championsgate CC never disappoints! I try to play here every time I am in the area. I haven't had a bad experience ever...

The staff were very nice however we did not see a ranger the whole round. On the back nine there were 2-3 groups ahead of us waiting to play. Also due to various construction around the course we had to maneuver through high grass and holes on the cart path.. Some signage would have been nice, it’s a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Only negative is that a lot of cart paths are dug up, and you have to detour on rough terrain. Pace of play was just over 4 hours.

Very well kept course … staff very friendly.. I will recommend this course to anyone

We played 5 courses in Orlando on our trip and this course was in the best shape fast true greens perfectly manicured sand traps . The last 5 holes are beautiful visually and very challenging. The country club is a must play

Wow ! Very impressed.. Thinking about changing from Hawks Landing to Champion Gate for my home course.

Nice course and good conditions. However, I was disappointed that cart didn’t have a GPS and as all the flags were white it was difficult to determine the position of the flag on the green.

Absolutely beautiful course in great condition. Fun layout with plenty of challenging but fair holes and pin placements. Unlimited ranges balls were included and it was fun hitting at floating targets in the water. Staff was friendly and helpful. We were greeted at the bag drop off and at completion of our round with assistance getting clubs to the car. It was really windy the day we played which made it a hard course yet we had a great time. Fairways and greens in fantastic shape and the golf carts were really nice and quick. (No GPS). Pace of play was good and overall this was a great “resort” experience. Will play again.

Can’t fault the course or any of the staff.

Only snag was the pace of play, 4 ball in front of us getting held up with a 4 ball in front them, typical in Florida these days, but we weren’t in any hurry..

Great layout with challenging elevation changes. All aspects of course were outstanding. Greens in immaculate condition.

Course was in great shape, people were very friendly, we played it in under 4 hours. Would highly recommend this course. Great practice area.

My 5t time on course and hasn't disappointed me yet!!!

From practice facilities to 18th hole I have no complaints but praise for the staff and upkeep of the course. True putters will absolutely love the greens and let's not talk about the scenery!!!

Overall I rated a 4 but there's only one other course I've rated that high and that's in San Antonio Texas!!!
