Love the back nine!!!! Staff was great, just don't got the pin locations for the day,. Makes it more challenging.

Fun course, great shape, great price for our round. Greens were recently aerated but the price reflected that. Good eats at the restaurant there as well. Will return again soon.

From tee boxes to greens- great shape. They are 3 weeks in aeration and they were still rolling great. Both 9 nines are great but back much more scenic as the homes not right on top of you

Champions Gate Country Club is a first-class golf course. The range is located in front of the clubhouse. The fairways was in top shape. The greens were just recently punched but still rolled fairly decent. I played as a single and the forecast predicted rain. The course was fairly empty. I caught up with a threesome (two males , one female) so they were playing from different tees. There was no one in front of them. I waited nine holes while they played horribly. They finally let me pass and I made it to the 16th hole before the rain came. Since I have been playing golf and I see a single golfer and I know that the course is clear in front of me, I let single golfers pass. It's called golf etiquette. I wish more people learn that golf is a gentleman sport. Usually at a golf course like Champions Gate that usually is never an issue. So the golf course was nice but a few of the golfers SUCKS!!!

Played as a single but ended up playing with the starter Gordy. Great day and good time.

Nice layout, greens aerified but very playable. want to play again when greens are in normal condition.

Course was in great shape! Greens were recently aerated but that was given information in the listing! Even with the aeration, the greens played very true. Greens held much more than the courses I am accustomed to playing! Had a few run in with the sand which racked up my stroke count! All in all, best course I have played to date!

This was a fantastic course it was fun to play, course was in great shape, greens and fairways were in perfect condition. The only issue I had is the distance from one hole to another which were long rides

Holes are generally wide and in good condition. Greens were aerated so can't comment on them much but I knew they'd be aerated before playing.

I was having a good day until their idiot of a ranger started an argument with me after hole 14 that we were on a 5 hour pace. I told him to do the math from my tee time because my foursome was on 4 hour pace. He insisted we weren't. He repeated 3 times that we had to pick it up because we were playing a 5 hour round. At the time of the argument we were through 14 holes in 3 hours. We were done with the round in just under 4 hours. Pretty good for first time playing the course with a couple guys who rarely play golf.

So the ranger ruined the rest of our back 9 as the inexperienced golfers started feeling rushed. Just takes one moron to ruin your day.

TLDR: decent course, pretty easy for skilled golfers. But one idiot can ruin your day.
