The Club at Islas del Mar

Shows 18 holes but they don't tell you you must play the same 9 2 times location signage very poor difficult to get to

We love playing Islas, the staff are the best. Course is looking good, just need the front 9 holes to get built. They just got new carts in and getting the graphics on them soon, making the ride around the course the best one could ask for. Look forward to playing it next week.

Great views, water on basicallu every hole. Challenging but very fun course, price of drinks/food not too bad at all either.

We have played las Palomas and Vidanta, this was our 1st at Isla Del Mar and I will say it is by far my favorite! Fairways were in good shape as were the greens. Everything was awesome…only issue, the greens played pretty slow! Again loved the course and will return soon!

The course has yet to build the front nine. I started on hole ten and went around twice but it was far from boring. The course is in good condition, well maintained and the layout is interesting. The eighteenth hole is far and away the hardest on the course, especially with a strong wind blowing from green to tee. I would definitely return even if I had to play the same nine twice. But it would be great if they built the front nine.

This is a 9 hole course in which we played twice. Lots of water and 30 mph winds made for added challenge. Still had a good time and think this is the best course in Rocky Point

We had a great time. My 11-year-old and I played nine holes and that was just perfect. The staff was amazing and very friendly. Mitch, our Cart girl, was very attentive and we never lacked for anything. I highly recommend this course.

Islas Del Mar far exceeded our expectations as a group. When to compared to other courses in the area, Islas was especially exceptional for VERY reasonable rates. The fairways were 9/10 and the greens were 8/10 and a tad slow but WELL maintained and the views and course setup were fantastic at 10/10.

The fairways were larger and more forgiving than I expected though the course is no easy round. There is water on nearly every hole and a right miss will often put you in trouble.

Unfortunately, we did experience an incident due to a faulty bag strap on our cart that resulted in my bag falling off the cart and onto the cement path about 7 holes into the round and ultimately resulted in a broken putter shaft. Here is where the customer service of this place really shines. I brought my sadness/frustration to the shop after 9 holes with hopes of exchanging carts and informing them of the issue but they took it upon themselves to refund 2 of our 3 tee times in an attempt to help pay for the repair of my club!

I will absolutely be back in coming years and will continue to recommend Islas Del Mar to anyone visiting the Puerto Penasco area.

Even though it was windy, the course was in great shape. They were aerating several fairways. Seems like they’re always working/maintaining the course. Sand in bunkers was often wet, but able to hit out of it. Greens were slow, but really ran consistently true

Love the course and the layout. Great Jack Nicolas design.

My wife and I went out for an 8am round. We got there at 7:40 and we were on the tee at 7:45. We had the course to ourselves, and finished in 3 hours. What a fabulous day.

The staff are always very friendly and professional. The back shop guys had us going immediately. Yesenia came by regularly with the cart asking if we needed any refreshments. Rut, at the front desk is always a pleasure.

The course conditions are always excellent. Kudos to the course maintenance team.

Javier, the Golf Manager, has the team working beautifully as a team and is always looking for ways to improve.

Challenging, narrow, water, surrounded.

Always windy in afternoons.
