Fun track
Note that only nine holes are open here. We somehow missed that bit of info when booking the course. But we enjoyed it so much, we didn’t mind looping it twice to get our18. Really nice layout with water in play on most holes. Coming down from Scottsdale, we quickly learned that the ball doesn’t travel as far here at sea level. While we’d normally play the blue tees, we started on the whites and were glad we did. Had to hit long irons or hybrids into most of the par fours. Greens were in great shape, held approach shots well and rolled true. Well look forward to playing again, even if the second nine isn’t open yet.
Bring your A Game;Must play in Rocky Point
Always enjoy playing a Nicklaus designed course. As typical elevated greens and deep bunkering with water on every hole. Bring two extra sleeves of balls!
Price too high
They charged us $40 at the course to let my fiancee play 9 holes we will not return that's robbery REALLY????
Only 9 holes but…
Great 9 hole course, which you can play different tee boxes, but we played the whites both times around, hoping to do better the second round.
Lots of water and a good challenging layout. Several elevated greens which are in great shape.
Always a pleasure to golf Islas del Mar
What a fabulous day at Islas del Mar. As always the staff were a pleasure. Course conditions are great! They have newer carts this year too!
Deceiving add
Shows 18 holes but they don't tell you you must play the same 9 2 times location signage very poor difficult to get to
Beautiful Course, just needs 9 more holes
We love playing Islas, the staff are the best. Course is looking good, just need the front 9 holes to get built. They just got new carts in and getting the graphics on them soon, making the ride around the course the best one could ask for. Look forward to playing it next week.
Great Fun Challenging Course
Great views, water on basicallu every hole. Challenging but very fun course, price of drinks/food not too bad at all either.
Nice Find
We have played las Palomas and Vidanta, this was our 1st at Isla Del Mar and I will say it is by far my favorite! Fairways were in good shape as were the greens. Everything was awesome…only issue, the greens played pretty slow! Again loved the course and will return soon!
If you have to play the same nine twice, do it here
The course has yet to build the front nine. I started on hole ten and went around twice but it was far from boring. The course is in good condition, well maintained and the layout is interesting. The eighteenth hole is far and away the hardest on the course, especially with a strong wind blowing from green to tee. I would definitely return even if I had to play the same nine twice. But it would be great if they built the front nine.
