Snails pace on greens
After being trampled down all weekend from tournament wanted to play course buf greens furry and slow like usual The rough needs cutting too penal. The rest is excellent
Slow
Surprised to play the day after the tournament weekend to see the greens slow. Can't get the ball to the hole easily some of the rough is too long still otherwise all good
Perfect Day
Have played LPGC several times and have yet to need or see a Marshall with regard to pace of play or related concerns.
We caught up to a group that was struggling with their games..and watched them drive their cart onto the green on the par 3. They had zero clue they were 2 holes behind with 3 groups waiting .
Otherwise great course.
Very nice course in Rocky Point !
I thought I might encounter sandy fairways etc. but this course is really kept up nicely. T-Boxes, Fairways and Greens all in very good shape.
The weather is early May is really nice and there was a steady ocean breeze. The course has some longer holes and is plenty challenging enough for most golfers.
Golf carts
Booked with golf now receipt said zero due at golf course charged five dollars extra per person for carts
Good Course but Can Be Better
I have played a lot of Links course, even in Irland and they can be very forgiving when you hit a bad shot. This course could be a really great Links course, but it needs some work. The course is not as forgiving as some Link courses due to the desert area around it, and the challenging holes with water hazards and bunkers, but it has holes that you can score low. The greens are really good; fairways could use some work some of them had some large areas with weed issues. If you never played the course before it can be confusing trying to figure out what flag you are hitting towards, the course signage is not very good. You also need to remember you're playing in Mexico so things can change in a blink of an eye. We arrived at the course an hour early to check everything out and practice before our round, when we went to check in the person running the front counter told us our reservation was cancelled because they had a tournament going on and we could come back tomorrow to play. She also said that golfnow sent out cancellation for it also to everyone that made a reservation that day, earlier in the week which was not true. So, we did get to play that day but had to wait until 2:00 pm for the tournament to ended. Also make sure you print your reservations out when you're playing in Mexico to be safe.
Las palomas, mexico
The course was very nice, challenging and greens were in excellent condition. Pace of play was great and staff helpful. Looking forward to play again this week
Rough is impossible
If you hit your ball in any hole in the rough just off the fairway forget trying to hit it let alone finding it .ITS TOO LONG CUT IT .The greens were too slow and you cut them now the ball rolls better.PLEASE CUT THE ROUGH DOWN ITS TOP HIGH !!!!!!! TY
Cut the rough
The rough isxway too long its impossible to find a ball let alone hit one from it
Good round
Course needs a little attention the rough is way too long and when they do cut it they leave the grass clippings on the ground . When you find my new pro V return it on 13
3.26.26
Asked to pay $5 per person at check in
To hit range balls before round was $5
Was given a new electronic cart to use
Green were nice, plush soft greens, can go at pins
Slow greens
The rough needs cutting and the greens are a bit slow otherwise excellent
Great day
Course in good condition greens were cut and good speed now
Carts suck!
Carts are old and poorly maintained. Earlier in the year there were two occasions when the cart died around the 14th hole. Last round here the brakes worked but didn't lock (fun on a course with as many hills as this one). Yesterday the brakes were inadequate and while they locked, they were reluctant to release.
Should also not that when you book here through golf now, they charge you an extra $5US "tax" per golfer when you sign in. It means that it costs you more than the "twilight" rate on some bookings.
Las Palomas
Greens were very bumpy causing the ball to jump, should be cut everyday. The stench from the two ponds is disgusting and needs to be addressed or we won’t be back. Rough needs to be cut more often, very long grass in lots of areas.
