Really nice challenging course.
Well groomed course. Automatically paired, which I don’t always care for. Nice club members, so this time worked out. A lot of construction all around the course. Had to actually drive through construction areas to get the next hole, and was pretty surprised about that. Really nice course and I would definitely recommend it.

Great conditions with two very different nines
Newer course in excellent shape. Front nine is more mature and housing has been completed. Back nine is exposed with lots of construction occurring which detracts from the beauty.
Conditions are excellent and greens are very fast with numerous slopes.
Will be a great course when all the housing is done.

Beautiful Layout Amongst the Construction
The course was in fantastic shape. The fairways were full, rough challenging (but fair) and the greens were true. My only disappointment was that the greens were hard as a rock and was difficult to stick a shot close without rolling off. One of the very friendly course attendants assured me they are working on “softening” them throughout the year since they are only a year old.
The carts were well-equipped with GPS and plenty of warnings as we neared hazards. It would be great if the screen would show the group ahead as we almost hit into them on one hole. There is still a great deal of construction in the surrounding property and we endured a few long drives between construction zones from green to tee box. I would not recommend walking this course for that very reason. Also, the practice range is closed on Mondays for maintenance and should be noted on their website and reservation system. Other than that, enjoy this gem of a course before word gets out and it becomes too crowded. Ooops…it appears I’m not helping in that department. :)

Perfection
Our first time playing here and OMG, what a course! Pristine condition, absolutely perfect fairways, rough, greens, tee boxes. Just gorgeous. Challenging and fun! We will definitely be back!

Great Design and conditions
First time playing this course on a “hot deal” for $65. Great design and visually pleasing. Greens are pristine. Great use of short par 4s where you get to hit something other than driver off the tee. Numerous blind shots into undulating greens due to significant mounding. Staff are friendly and the marshals actually drive around the course monitoring play.
Now for the criticisms. Round took 5 hours despite marshals trying to speed things up. Almost no bathrooms on the course. Back nine plays through housing construction causing you to wind through dirt and gravel paths in between holes, although signage is adequate. The snack shack closed at 4 pm and the beverage cart had no hot food.
I would definitely go back due to quality of the course and value despite the minor inconveniences.

Great time-every time
Super friendly staff, great Transfusion cocktails , lot of rain days before playing expected wet conditions and CPO... but nope, course drains great and no restrictions on carts. Beautiful course , great conditions.... always love playing Plantations !
Worth Every Penny
Course layout is amazing. Greens roll consistent and true. Construction of new homes made a few Cart paths off-road. When everything is complete, this will be stunning.

My Round
Started off with a great warmup on the fine practice facility. Birdie on number one, three straight pars. Then the monsoon came. Waited in tunnel then a quick run to clubhouse. Staff was sensational and gave me a full round rain check that I will utilize at a later date. Always friendly and course was immaculate!

Interesting layout
This course has some par 4s over 400yds and some under 300yds. Plenty of water but can play around it on most holes.

Course was in great shape. The staff we did see, were nice. Be nice to have water jugs around the course. Snack cart did not have much in it. Could do with a few less bunkers. Blind tee shots with water in landing zones........ Greens were smooth and quick. fairways very nice. I like a more natural layout. Will try the course again. Shot 84 this time.....

Plantation Lakes - A very nice course
Played Plantation Lakes in Millsboro DE for the first time yesterday. And I’ll definitely be back. The housing construction ion the back nine was annoying but didn’t impact the playability of the course. Lots of unique holes. Greens were very fast with many undulations. Fairways were too thin in a couple areas. Staff was very friendly. Surprised there weren’t more people playing the course. The ownership have invested a lot of money in this course. I’m looking forward to going back.

Tough little course…
Numerous short par 4s balanced by longer par 4’s. Some tight fairways, lots of trouble lurking…fast greens, some quite undulating…
