Enjoyed playing this course for the first time. Good layout and course was pretty firm considering time of year. Greens rolled nice and had nice undulation. Will definitely be back.

So you can only expect so much from any course in Delaware in the first week of January, especially after a couple of days of rain. But the course conditions were as good as one could possibly expect, and they had the good sense to have tees moved up since you didn't get much rollout and not much carry either in cool, windy weather. But I'll take it for a very enjoyable round this time of year at a great price.

Hazards abound although the course is very playable if you can control your golf ball. So I'd suggest that beginners find a more forgiving course, but everyone else should enjoy it. Approach shots were quite tricky as some are blind and the green shapes often made it difficult to gauge distance, particularly with cart path only despite GPS on the carts. I'd read that the greens had some crazy undulation, and that's definitely true for #12 although I got the benefit of it in my round. Overall, due to the time of year the greens played highly deceptively with breaks opposite of how things looked (playing companions agreed), but rolled true. Don't expect to make many putts until you've played the course multiple times.

As for #12, perhaps they should rethink a 60% slope (or whatever it is) although it did remind me of miniature golf which I love almost as much as the real thing. In theory, depending on where they place the cup on that green, if coulld be a par 8 often requiring up to 6 putts. And it's not like the terrain required it. This part of Delaware is flat as a pancake so they had to intentionally sculpt it that way. I know it's a short hole and they needed to add some challenge, but it's okay to have a easier hole every now and then rather than trick it up.

Overall, it's a great course I hope to play in summer when I'd get the full experience.

Really fun course with a wonderful design. Brand new and in great shape, even in the winter.

What a great course!! Tough layout but still getable. Green complexes are tricky. Cant wait to play it again.

First time seeing the new 9. Nice contrast and amazing undulations in the greens. Freezing day but can image it at 80° with lunch on the porch after. Stay masked so that HAPPENS !

Great course, great practice facility, friendly helpful people working there. Couldn’t have had a better experience. Extremely challenging course with long par fours even from the front tees. Back nine is fairly new but the whole course is very well-kept.

For a new course at least the new nine- very playable nice mix to long and short - nice balance of hazards- tee to green very fair- the greens esp on the back nine were extraordinarily difficult very fast and very undulating- on Saturday when you combine the wind and the speed of the green it was difficult- I play to a 16 handicap so if you a higher handicap be ready as the greens are truly the challenge of this course- the course beat me up but I will return

This course puts Bayside Resort Golf Course to shame. The practice facility, the course condition (fairways, traps, and greens) are exceptional. The staff made us feel like we were members. Something Bayside does not even do for its members, let alone fee paying players. The greens were the best I have ever played on a course that cost less than $90 dollars to play.

Beware, the 6200 tees are deceivingly long..
