Plantation Lakes Golf and Country Club

From the staff to the course, it’s a great Arthur Hills design. 5 tee boxes with challenges a plenty. We were greeted professionally, excellent condition, I love this course. A must play, can’t hardly wait until next year to do it again.

All of the guys at the course were great. We talked about the course layout, conditions and the finishing of the front nine and clubhouse. The course is second only to Baywoods in beauty. Kudos to the grounds team and Superintendent. I played with a member who was super friendly and we actually stopped of at his house for an ice cold beer. What a great day at Plantation Lakes.

Sun broke out between thunderstorms just long enough to play 9. Love the new trap on 13. The 16th fairway had been a problem but is now pristine. The new clubhouse and second 9 are under construction and looking great. The new practice green and practice facility are very impressive. I wish PL would offer a nonresident membership so I could be part of it all.

The course is in excellent shape. Once the club house and additional nine holes are completed, I am sure my rating for the categories of Layout and Amenities will be 5s as well. It is great to see the progress this course has made in the past several years. The grounds team has made tremendous improvements in the past 2 years and now seem to maintain the course at a high level.

Highly recommend this current 9 hole course.

We played PL last year and had such a great time we went back again this year. First, the 9 holes that are up and playable are awesome. Tee/fairways/greens are all in great shape. However ,this year was diff. Seemed to be a free for all this year. We got the feeling we or outsiders weren't welcomed there. Barely any staff around. No Starter to direct anyone anywhere. Lots of singles or doubles playing so there was no coordination for golfers coming off the 9th hole to replay 9 again and for golfers who were just starting out. We had 2 groups. First group teed off but as were going to our balls, we saw singles coming off 9 for their replay. So because they were singles, our second group being nice let the go first. First group finished at about 4 hrs, second group 5 hrs. All because no one was out there coordinating things. We also notice that single golfers seem to play a few holes and then disappear. Seems like the surrounding community plays when they want then walk off. Thats what it looked like to our groups. Last year I would have said this is a must course. This year, you might want to wait until they finish all 18 holes.

Course was magnificent. Only drawback was pace of play.

The course is beautiful and in great shape. Only drawback was after playing the first 9 holes I was going to have to wait 45 minutes to play it again (for 18).

The course is obsolutely gorgeous and is great experience. Can’t wait til they have all 18 holes completed.

Staff very friendly and accommodating. Course was amazing layout and immaculate condition. Wasn’t expecting anything of this quality on a 9 hole course. Highly recommend you lay this one.

Visiting from New York had a wonderful time at the course with friends I’ve never met before. Mike Jo and Jim..Staff is excellent my car was dropped off for my car. And the round was steady wind would recommend to anyone visiting from out of state

Enjoyed a fun and challenging round at plantation lakes. Course was in amazing shape. I will be back very soon.

Only negative about the place was food, really only a small selection of crackers and soda but that’s is because thier clubhouse isn’t built yet. Still a great experience and at a reasonable price.

Superior conditions for a 9-hole - in time it will be an 18-hole course but that's what makes it unique is in good condition and fun to play the same holes twice
