Fair Test
Challenging, yet fun course to play. Elevation and conditions give you something to think about on every hole
Wind was gusting during my round. Adding to the “fun” factor.
Let me work on some longer irons and hybrids offf some tee boxes.
Will definitely play again. !
Gone to ****
Last year the course was well maintained. This year in 2024 its gone to crap. greens are disease ridden nearly unplayable. tee boxes are unlevel jungles. why is the grass height higher than the top of my ball even when its tee’d up?!?
Bunker Hill - short game challenge
Bunker Hill is a good 12 hole short game challenge. Great views!
Cart Policy
I was told when I paid for a cart to keep it only on the cart paths. I thought this cant be right when on course after shots to get to your ball. While on the course I was told by a maintenance person no carts on the course, only on paths. So I pay for a power cart so I dont have to walk the course and speed up my play etc., and yet we still have to walk to our balls? I obviously understand no carts on tee boxes and greens. But roughs and fairways on the course? What is the point of renting a cart. The path could be on one side of hole and our balls on the other. Then walk back to cart each time. Waste of paying for a cart.
Nice course
Very country style. Like it
Challenging, heck of a layout.
It has been years since I've golfed here, and I remembered why; it's a challenge and I usually look for more relaxation on a par 3 course. This no pitch-and-putt. The elevation changes, blind shots and length on 2 of the holes make it a tough test for your average duffer. It is a lovely course, well maintained. A cart is necessary for all but the most intrepid. The distance between holes and the climbs are quite daunting. The infamous 5th hole, 192 yards over a protected bush-filled valley, is practically a swing-and-hope, as you can just barely see the green. The last hole is 212yds and woe betide you if you deviate from the middle very much. Of course, there are always the traps right in the center of the fairway to deal with too. All in all, a fun, but hard round of 12 holes in 2 hours.
Cart a must
Long walks between holes and hills makes having a cart a must.
Decent and enjoyable course
We had a great time. And I liked hole #5. It was different and challenging. People in other reviews whine too much sometimes that's the problem lol
Great views also.
