The course is good but too busy
It was second time play golf here.
I’m living in Brea. I tried to make reservation several times for morning tee time but there is no open spot in the morning. Every time I searched tee time, there is no available tee time.
So, I played after 1pm with my family. But the play was so delayed. We ended up at 5:30 pm.
It became too dark to play golf.
Great value
This course is always in good condition. The only issue I have is that the greens are really slow and especially after the rain they were extra slow. Overall pace of play is amazing and the fairways, rough, bunkers and greens are always in good condition and makes it a fun course to play especially for the price!
Great place to work on your irons
Average sized executive course that is a great place to work on your irons. It’s in California so the weather was perfect.
Rained hard weather yesterday noon! Still charged
It was hard raining yesterday .Still not give me credit
Not very happy ..
With the exception of knowing some beloved staff members are no longer there make it a no return type of gig . Certain individuals make a round of golf amazing and when they are no longer there it makes it crappy .
Great place to get a quick round in
Love this spot. Not super fancy but for me it is just right. The staff here have always been great and the grounds are kept up very nice if the weather cooperates. Really easy to get a round in, with things moving along at the right pace, in 3.5 hours max. Our last time out was slowed down by the two groups in front of us. I know this is a course generally known for beginners to learn and develop but the guys in front of us were taking so many extra putts that slowed us down quite a bit. Save that for the putting practice greens. All in all, it was a beautiful day and golfing with friends and playing not so bad, it was not worth the heat around the collar. Would golf here again.
A Nice Friendly Course
Birch Hills is a nice course to play in the afternoon. I have not played this course in like 10 years. It is a good course to practice your short game. But the greens had a lot of ball marks and the tees boxes had a lot of weeds too. Hope had a good time playing this course and I would tell my friends about this course.
Hi Fitzmauricejohn! Thank you for sharing your positive experience at our executive course. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the California weather and found our course to be a great spot for working on your irons. We appreciate your feedback!
