Thank you for leaving a review. We are currently reviewing this with our team and are creating solutions to create a more enjoyable round of golf. Thank you for coming out to play Birch Hills!
Thank you for the 4-star review! Please come back this Friday as we have the Burger Monster Food Truck coming out!
Last minute tee time
Always enjoy this course. The staff is one of the friendliest and help we play at.
Thank you for the 5-star review! Please come see us again soon for some more birdies!
Grounds staff is non responsive
I have played many times here . Lately, the grounds crew has been working on the course while we are playing. they appear to be clueless as to the game. Yesterday one worker was watering the green while we waited at the tee for 5 minutes. When he finally moved, he left the hose on the green. I landed i the back trap and as I approached he started to water the trap.
Thank you for leaving a review, Michael. We are sorry this happened and will bring this back to our staff to discuss.
First time to Birch Hills
A great executive course. Greens were challenging, holes were creatively designed. A great place to work on the basics of your game or for a beginner to learn.
Thank you for the 4-star review! Hope to see you out here again soon!
Thank you for the 5-star review!
Never play course again, to many kids playing taking 3-4 shots and adults with them doing the same no marshal to regulate.
Thank you for leaving a review and bringing this to our attention. We will bring this back to our team. If you have any questions please email me at adow@birchhillsgolf.com!
Thank you for leaving a review. We hope you made plenty of birdies while on the golf course! We also hope, upon your next visit, we may earn those last two stars!
Nice course for beginners
This was the second time that we have played this course
My wife has just taken up the game and she has enjoyed playing this course and she has been able to not be overwhelmed by it
Most of the holes are short in distance
Wish that the people that play the course would fix their ball marks on the greens to keep them in the great shape that they are in for a muni course
Thank you for leaving a review! Thank you for also welcoming another member of our great golfing community! Hope to see you out here again soon!
Repair Greens
This used to be a great course to practice my short game, but with the poor conditions of literally each and every green, putting is off the list of practice items. Sad it doesn't seem anyone repairs their ball marks and the staff doesn't seem to have a program to repair them either. Honestly don't think I'll be back.
Hi Gary, thank you for leaving a review. We would to learn more about your view on our course conditions to improve. Please email me at adow@birchhillsgolf.com.
Hello, thank you for taking the time to review the course. Please tell us more. The way you have provided your feedback does not offer us any room to grow or change. We encourage you to update your review to fit a more constructive form so we can use your experience to make changes. Thanks for playing Birch Hills Golf Course.
A great place to tune up your game ... if you’re patient
Birch Hills is a terrific layout for an executive course. It does something that few executive courses can do. It asks you to play every shot in your bag. Long hitters may pull the driver 2x times and be tempted by greens just out of their reach, while other skill levels can play the same hole with an iron tee shot, and take their normal approach for par.
And that is where the beauty of this course lies. It asks you to play your game. For you to be uncomfortable on some ranges you may not consider practicing. But each time you are practicing shots you need to play when you move along to longer layouts.
It can be a very slow course when it gets busy, backing up around holes 5-6 but that’s to be expected with so many par 3s on a course.just know that’s what you are in for?
SLOW PACE OF PLAY
Not sure why the pace of play was excruciatingly slow. It took 2 hours to play the front 9. The front 9 shouldn't have taken that long to play.. They allowed 2 big groups to play ahead of us and they also had to wait for the groups ahead of them.
Thank you for leaving a review. We do understand that on some days, play maybe a little slow but we do have marshalls out on the course to try and keep play moving. We hope we can earn those last two stars on your next visit!
It’s okay
Pro shop staff and starter were friendly and courteous. Pace of play was terrible and need a marshal to keep the pace going . Front 9 fairways and greens were average condition.
Thank you for leaving a review, FroyD. We understand that pace of play on some days does slow down a little bit. We do have marshalls out there trying to keep groups on time. We will make sure we keep play moving in the future so we may earn those last two stars!
Thank you for coming out! DId you have a favorite hole out here?
Cheap, slow and very slow
Cheap costs to play, cheap fairway appearance, slow greens and even slower pace of play.
