Short winter day
HAD A nice day playing with a 2some and a single,
we took turns hitting em good and hitting em bad.my putting let me down.
Short winter day
Had good weather. Joined a nice 3some. teetime was almost too late.
I wish there were more executive 18 like this course.
Good tee time, weak body!
Joined a sister, brother and sister's boyfriend for this round. Nice young adults out for some fun.
We made it through the round at a fair pace. Somebody complained about our pace.
fished some balls from the ponds.
I struggled (bad legs) to the finish but had a good time with the help of my companions.
Not bad
Greens got better … new tee boxes are an improvement. Pace of play can be an Issue depending on the skill level of players around you.
Greens are in pure condition
The greens are rolling beautifully after aerating has been completed… wonderful practice course to sharpen your irons. Most importantly, the staff will always assist you with a smile! One of my favorite courses in Orange County!
fast track
For a great weather Sunday afternoon got thru 18 in 3 hours--which made the round very satisfying. Downside of the course is still all those birds and what they leave behind, and golfers not repairing ball marks. Overalll it's close to home, not expensive, and good pace of play.
One of Orange County’s Finest
I play here twice a week. The staff are always great and accommodating. The pace of play could be improved. But that’s because of the popularity of this nice layout. Just bring some snacks and enjoy their clubhouse grill if it gets too slow.
Birch Hills 4 out of 5 stars!
180 yards … hit an iron on 16th and 17th
Please stop hitting woods on the 16th and 17th tee… if you can’t take an iron, tee up from the whites. Some of you are endangering others with your hooked fairway woods
Great for your short game.
I've been here 5-7 times, great to work on it short game. Took my 2 sons who are beginners, perfect for them to work on their game.
Fun Executive w some par 4s
It was a fun course with challenging greens on some holes, challenging fairways and tee offs as well. Water hazards early on so there are lots of strategy tactics to employ. Only con was the tee box for a couple of the later holes were removed from the blue range and only white was available. This made too many par 3s around 100 yards. When these two tees are repaired the total par 4 count adds nicely to the overall course. It was a fun executive that was not repetitive. There are a couple holes where the grass is wet to the point of being mushy and muddy. That made it difficult to hit the second or third shot as you stood in soggy soil and whipped up mud.
$28 for a cart is insane
Fun clean course … Greens need work that’s for sure .. $14 per person for a Golf cart $28 to ride for 2 plus the $32 to play … absolutely absurd! For $20 more dollars you can play nicer full 18 hole courses including cart …. Also beware of the geese poop everywhere! Staff was friendly at least but def can find cheaper better courses around!
Ground Under Repair for 3 months???
Several holes are ruined by wet mud that has been there for several months… #5 , #6, #13 basically all have a mud trap right in front of the green that kills your ball upon landing…
Please fix this! It’s a terrible flaw and ruins the experience of a perfectly straight shot
