Skylinks at Buchanan Fields

I was pleasantly surprised even astonished at the improvements in the course from a few weeks ago. It also looks like there will be two new tees on two of the par 3s that will add real challenge.

Number one reason for the bad review is the extreme slow pace of play…especially because there was no one (Marshall) out there to help…..not even a starter to send people off.

Two folks that had an 11:30T-time didn’t get started till 11:55, for no good reason. They were complete hackers taking more than 10 shots to get on the green on a par 4, and would take forever on each shot. Nobody there to ask them to pick up their ball or the pace. We waited 20 minutes or more on each hole, until after the 5th hole that we just left…so frustrated that I didn’t even bother to ask for a refund or replay.

If it’s your first time ever playing and you have never hit a ball on the range…then maybe this is the place for you….else avoid it at all costs.

It’s also a bad layout, small greens, short holes, terribly kept and maintained.

every part of the team was extremely nice and very accommodating as usual.

course keeps getting better under the direction of the new management.

Kiwi is awesome as is the front desk team.

Fairways were “fair” The greens were ok. There was debris that actually diverted a couple of putts on one hole. Thought it was a good value.

Even worse condition than the last time I was here. Now tees are completely ruined and greens mottled with crabgrass. Fringes are basically just dirt. Why would anyone play here ?

I appreciate the upgrades on the course, including sand in bunkers, chipping green w sand bunker, yardage markers, and full fairway mowing.

Thanks for taking over and turning this place around. Awesome to see the transformation in a weekly basis.

My buddy and I have decided to play more in order to get better and we are choosing this golf course to do it!

Had a fun day with my 19 year-old nephew...his first time out on a course after only three sessions on the range...perfect for his current abilities and affordability...sufficiently challenging for me, too! The course is heavily played and has some wear and tear but, hey, for $20 for a 9 -hole round (including $5 for a pull cart) it was good value. We were pre-paid (TeeOff.com), showed up early for our tee time, and so, they comped us a small bucket of range balls! Nice! Very friendly staff in the Golf Shop.

Really like the changes implemented, like sand in bunkers, better yardage markers, fully mowing 3par fairways
