Davis Golf Course

A very simple layout with a little water and a few traps. Perfect course for beginners and seniors. As such, you may end up playing behind a very slow group. I teed off behind four beginners who took 25 minutes to play the straight 340 yard par four with no water. They let me through on the second tee and it was smooth going from then on. Great little course for the price!

Not too tough, but able to use all clubs in the bag.

The short par-67 Davis course is an easy course to walk and is a great value. It's a good test for all except long hitters and is a great course for senior players

Greens rolling true - some greens have small areas dried out patches. Tee boxes in good shape. Layout a positive with trees trimmed just enough to still provide trouble if in rough. Could have used a drink / food cart on course. Lunch in the restaurant was delicious. Will come back.

Davis Golf Course is a great, affordable course that’s surrounded by farmland. The lay of the course matches the farmland around it, flat. Greens are elevated and move at a slower pace. Greens keepers do a great job keeping the course in good shape. Most holes are basic and can be easily pared. The thing that keeps you honest is the tree lined fairways. Most holes do not suit a cut in the slightest. The thing that makes Davis such an awesome course is you can always expect to have a great time for a great price. Not to mention to price you pay is a day pass so you can keep playing all day if you want.

Driving range, PGA professionals, practice greens, beers, food, and good course. Perfect place for golfers of all skill levels Good golfers, bring friends and have a shoot-out. Beginning golfers, come out in the evening get comfortable on a golf course. Perfect for senior and ladies leagues. Great place to walk with view of foothills and farmland on the front. This is an everyday golf facility great for building a solid golf game.

I'm a grad student so this is the only course that is affordable that is close to UC Davis. Course is in great shape for a muni. Very easy golf course but I think that's why everyone flocks to it. It's hard to get out and play it because you end up waiting 10-15 minutes to hit a shot. It's not enjoyable when that happens.

Enjoyed our 18 hole round. Hooked up with two other players who were great to play with. Course was in geed shape with lots of challenges for wayward balls.

Thought the course was great. The pace was fantastic. Played as a 2-some and had a 2-some in front of us. Like the short to long grass and the greens were in great condition.

My wife and I booked an online tee time. There was a misunderstanding on my part. The course manager gave us a discounted price along with 2 tokens for range balls. I felt like the manager went out of his way to make us feel like valued customers. We definetley will come back.

Best short game practice trak around. Play from whites which is same as red and every approach will b within 100yrds. How many pins can u hit from 70yrds. 50 yrds over a bunker. Thats what im talkin about. Great to walk n price cannot b beat. Unfortunately i went on a sun that was flawless n packed. 5+ hour round. 10 min wait on all front holes. After nine alot of folks left so back was smooth but damage was done.

The course was in good condition, but the pace of play made the round very frustrating. Waiting for 5-10 minutes at every tee box and the two foursomes in front of us were in no rush to get home.

It was nice for the money. The fairways are narrow and the driving range nets are missing in some places and have huge holes in them so we had dodge some golf balls. And make sure u use a colored ball on the 10th and the 18th holes because there are balls everywhere. I will play there again. Josh

Typical muni style course. Staff was friendly and the course overall was in good shape. Narrow fairways and fairly thick rough neutralized the extremely short holes. Overall a good experience.

Fun course to play, not very long and not too challenging. The greens were aerated earlier in the week but knew that before playing. The course was in good condition otherwise.

Nothing to complain about here. Open, fairly easy course. Fast pace of play. Windy in the valley, but fairly sheltered. Nice course.
