Manteca Park Golf Course

Raine has really great customer service. Really down to earth. Easy going willing to take take out of his day to assist you. Jeff on the other hand needs to come off his high horse. You'd figure after spending $200 for a foursome to get out and play he'd be willing to help and assist you. From the moment you check in he just seems like he's having a bad day or let alone doesn't want to be there. If that's the case maybe he should re-think his decision of working at a "PUBLIC GOLF COURSE". I'm not sure how it works, but if he's the owner he needs to take a bite of some humble pie.... Maybe even 2nds. Besides Jeff I highly recommend getting out and playing a round at manteca golf course.

The course was in wonderful shape to play..pace of play was fine as we tee off early.. I hadn't played this course in a while but hole numbers had changed and it was easy to follow.... Course was very well kept and maintained and greens are in awesome shape... This does not seem like the same course I played in the past... In so much better shape..... Outstanding... what ever your doing and who ever is doing it keep up the good work.....we will be playing here more often.

I have played Manteca many times and was pleasantly surprised when I returned back after a few years. The new pro in the pro shop has rerouted the course so that you now finish on the par 5 with the water hazard in front. Course conditions also seem to be a focus point as fairways and greens were very pure.

Course is usually packed and the big gripe over the years has been pace of play. New signs on the first tee to discourage slow play and marshals cruising the course, slow play has been mitigated.

The course was in very good shape. Both the fairways and greens were well kept. My only issue with the physical condition was that the greens were a bit long but I guess that is conserving water. The pace of play was a slow for my liking taking almost 5 hours for the round. I saw only one marshal on the course and he seemed to be concentrating more on picking up debris around the tee boxes than speeding up play. Also, I noted that 4-5 holes in front of us was a 5 some who was slowing pace of play. Perhaps stronger encouragement of playing through at registration would help this group.

The tee boxes were a mess and it looked like they had not been moved for weeks. The greens were not cut and very slow. The course has good bones, but it just is not being cared for adequately.

with all the rain we have had lately, I was happily surprised at how dry the course was . yes we were cart path only or at the course they call it rough only, but compared to our local courses that were closed or walking only this was a pleasant surprise.

This course is about 2-1/2 star to 3-star at best golf course. That is the reason behind y 1-star rating so that I can bring the star rating down. Course was ok but the greens were bumpy and slow. The pace was pretty slow. There were 7-8 golfers on some holes. Yes, you read it right. 7-8 golfers on few of the holes!!!. We also saw this one golfer with two toddlers hanging and giggling on the back of his golf cart as we were playing. I'm not sure if the management lets them do these things but it wasn't like the other golf courses that I've been to in the past...

Course was in fairly decent condition for this winter round. Sunny start turned to a chilly finish. I always enjoy playing here.

We teed off on schedule, but pace of play was 43 minutes for the par 5 first hole. When we finished the first hole, we could see that the tee boxes for the second and third hole were backed up, which was not encouraging.

My partner and I did not have time for a 9 hour round, so we went back to the clubhouse, got a refund of our money, and left. We took a chance and drove out to The Reserve, where we were able to walk on, and finish in a little over 4.5 hours.

Green fees at Manteca included range balls. The number of range stalls is limited and many of the mats were so torn up as to be unusable for practicing irons off the deck, but shots off the tees worked fine.

Veterans' day was a perfect day to play golf, weather was nice. The course was fine, not too busy that day and staff were great and respectful. They greet you promptly. facility was clean. The only comment I have, driving range and practice balls need some help. I played well that day for sure. what about 103 for a rookie. Thank you for keeping your course in great condition.

Over booked tee times. Every hole was a 15-20 min wait to tee off. Me and 3 buds left after the 13th hole. If we would have finished, it would of by far been a record for longest round for all of us. I called the next morning to obviously get a discount on our next round for some redemption. NO GO, and no apology! I'll keep playing there because they keep it green, but step it up Manteca on customer service. - as a business owner.

Right from the start the staff was great. I showed up holding a reservation for another date by mistake. The young man at the counter honored the hot deal price I had booked. My son and I played as a twosome. Pace of play was very enjoyable. Course was in real good shape for the amount of rain we had received. The greens were a bit furry do to the rain but not terrible.

I will defiantly be back.

Moderate difficulty. You must stay in the fairway. The greens are in good condition.

Haven't played here recently but found tge course just like I remembered it. Good experience. Course was good, greens very nice.
