Seven hills
Nice course but no food offer at 1100 yet. Might be alittle over priced! Greens are extremely small fairways in good shape. Will play here again to see if it’s worth it
The greens
The greens had been horrible the weekend before after being punched and lots of sand on them .
On 5/14 /22. They were leaps and bounds much better and much improved for rolling in the par s and birdies. Cheers
Greens just a little bumpy from recent aeration but good. Will be really in a week. Fairways were good as weel.
Course
Overall , not bad, could use some maintenance, dead trees, etc but a decent course
Fun course
First time here I didn’t know what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised, nice and green and well maintained, the greens were a little soft and slow but they were clean. When the wind picks up it gets more challenging. Grandma lives nearby so I’ll be back
Well maintained bunkers with actual sand
This course had great conditions in fairways with lush rough in most places, especially around the greens. This is one of the few courses that have well maintained bunkers with fluffy lies. A great value for the green fee.
Best value in the IE
The course is in great shape from tee to green. We made 18 holes in 3 hours and fifteen minutes. The Pro Shop staff is great as are the restaurant crew.
Grumpy (old…sorry older) man.
Booked as a single/ended up only as a single player for early tee time. I’m a friendly golfer who can play with all sorts/types of golfers. There happened to be a 6some group (YES that’s right a 6some) right after my tee time. The unfriendly grumpy golfer (who shall be nameless…ahem Wayne) in the group felt privileged/entitled and REFUSED the starter to have the group split as two 3somes. It’s probably a good thing I didn’t get grouped with this Wayne! But to allow 5-6somes on a regular basis slows up pace of play and sets the tone for the day. This is inexcusable and the starter should know better! Otherwise the course is in fairly good condition overall (maintenance crew doing a good job although was following me around every hole…annoying). This is a bombers course and only protection is tiny circular greens (no character or undulations). This is a go to course of last resort and reasonably priced with walking option.
The course was good for the price you pay.
The restaurant was closed at 4:15 so we were unable to have an early supper. The people at the pro shop were very friendly and helpful as this was our first time at this course. We would golf this course again.
What's with the greens!!!
I play lots of courses and SOME of these greens were some of the worst I've played this year so far! To be fair many of them were "ok to good" but some had terrible patches and dead spots. 4 different greens were so bad that my ball literally "jumped" when it went through rough patches on the green. The rest of the course is fine but some of the greens were so bad I won't be playing here again any time soon.
7 Hills golf
People were very friendly and helpful. Pace of play was good. fairways were ok, greens were very bumpy and had holes from diseased grass on several.
