St. Marlo Country Club

The course is in excellent shape. The fairways and greens are perfectly maintained by the maintenance team. Straight balls favor the golfer with a few nice dog legs that make the overall play challenging. Rate of play nicely monitored and of course the St Marlo staff is top notch. Get out and play while the weather is still nice.

Course is in decent shape but extras not so much. Range mats were beat up, and balls even worse. Flat tire on cart during our round. Starter is on a power trip and personality even worse.

No notice was given that 6 holes would be cart path only. These holes on Tee Box, and around green where soaked. Hole 15 had more grass in sand trap than sand.

I've played here several times and it's a decent course when the conditions are dry. Avoid playing after raining. The course doesn't drain well.

The course was incredibly nice, when my group played the greens had just been aerated so we got a decent discount. Overall it was a fine experience. The main issue was the staff being somewhat standoffish during check in, and then the pace of play. It took us a little over 5 hours to get in a full 18 hole round, which is ridiculous. They have pace of play clocks scattered throughout the course, but nobody really paid any attention to those and the marshals did nothing to speed up pace of play. Two different marshals drove by us on 3 different occasions, and nobody said a word to us or I assume anyone in front of us because there was no increase to the pace of play. Other than this, I enjoyed my time out there, but having spent 5 hours doing something that should have taken an hour and a half really tarnished the experience.

I hoped for a discount since it was my birthday😁 other that I loved each Service rendered and my round.

For a $100 round you can find much better. Some of the tee boxes were in bad shape and most of the greens were awful. For $50-$60 this course would be worth the price but not at $100 per person. Also, cart path only when the fairways are completely dry is just pure laziness on their part.

For the money the bunkers needs fixing asap. They’re not sandy. It’s rocks and feels like concrete.

Other than the above, course is nice!

Layout is great; practice area top notch; Fairways great; greens way too slow no doubt due to the heat. Overall good but…if you have back problems or don’t want back problems, stay away from these cart paths. Beyond bumpy.

It's been several years since I last played here. The overall course was in great shape with the exception of the bunkers which appear to not have been maintained since I last played here 8 years ago (picture attached). Additionally, with an 8:50am tee times it took us 4 hours and 45 minutes to play. At one point on the back nine the ranger came by and asked how we were doing. We shared we had been on the tee box for 10 minutes and the group in front was about a 7 iron in front of us. He never talked to anyone in front of us just watched and moved on. Why was he out there?
