I Recommend This Course
New Brentwood is really good
What a great experience the "New" Brentwood is. The bentgrass greens were tremendously smooth and every club in Southern California should take note, spend the $$ and put in Bent Grass greens!
I really liked the bunker changes, finally got away from the same bunker configuration looking at every green.
The golf course is in better shape than I remember, I am guessing that losing 300+ trees and creating corridors for light to hit the fairways is the main reason for the improvement.
The food and service are impeccable and it was a very enjoyable afternoon, it probably didn't hurt that my host was and is a great player, has played the course for 40+ years and nice guy and knows how to have you enjoy a round of golf.
