Playing the only course open
Able to play Madera Muni, which is the only course in the Fresno open. The greens were very slow and the cups were lifted for play during the virus “flattening the curve”. It was wonderful getting to play and am very appreciative that they were open.
Nice Casual Morning Round
My Buddy and I play together weekly and usually here at Madera Muni. We finished our 18 holes in just a little over 3 hours. It was not crowded and a beautiful springtime morning.
Could be lots better...
Restaurant under new management and it shows in a not good way. Many times no one at the counter. No snacks other than chips and candy bars...Breakfast burritos and chicken tacos are not the same anymore & definitely didnt get better. The course...random very wet spots around the course when it hasn't rained in weeks, almost no sand in bunkers, maybe a little overpriced at times. Ron & Jerry in the clubhouse are always nice & easy to get along with...the woman not so much at times.
Called in an order at 9th tee with number posted, got bounce around kitchen under new management. Ordered cheese burger and onion rings told be ready
Made order at 9th tee, told be ready 10 mins, arrived informed kitchen closed. Why say it be ready, then last time order couple cheladas 18 bucks
Love this course, so glad its still open in the time of crisis.
Wet round
Have played course quite a few times and is a bargain if you are a walker. Fairways are in fairly good condition except it seems to be wet all the time for whatever reason. Greens are pretty good and run true. Fairly easy course if you keep the ball in play. Pace of play is good and usually no waiting time.
Course is in great condition
Greens are great and the fairways are in good shape.
Was a little busy on a Wednesday but the pace of play was good.

I have been playing Madera Muni since it opened but the Course is in as Good of shape as I've ever seen it!
Madera Golf
Course and greens in great shape. Keep it straight and putt well you can go low. Trees and traps present challenge to right or left on every hole. Greens are quick but fair. Give it a visit!!!
