Golfer Reviews
Not for beginners
The course is NOT for first time players or for ones who have not played in a really long time. It's built for the advanced players or players who golf on a regular basis.
Awesome course! Highly recommended
Love this course! On our way to Yosemite we wanted to play some golf and found this awesome place. The practice area was nice and shaded!!!!! Pace of play was awesome. We finished the round in 3 hours. No rush at all. Weather was nice with winds blowing through 5-12 holes. Course is in good shape. We really enjoyed our time here and will definitely come back to play!
Getting Better
I last played Dragonfly in March and the course was pretty beat up from the wicked winter. Played on 5/8 and it’s getting better but still not in the usual better than average condition that Dragonfly is known for.
It’s still worth playing just know that conditions aren’t quite super yet.
Greens are decent enough and roll fairly smooth at a medium-fast pace. Fairways are so so but getting better
Tee boxes are ok and sand traps are excellent
Dragonfly golf course review
Greens were bad and very sandy, fairways were dry and sandy, I had a lot of trouble with the golf carts, I stayed on the cart path the whole time and it kept turning off saying I was off the cart path, it was very annoying and frustrating, did not have a good experience at all, the pace of play was terrible, there was a group in front of me that kept losing their ball and kept looking for it in the deep rough knowing well they wouldn’t find it, I wouldn’t recommend tus course
Best overall course in Fresno
Love this course, for 3 reasons
1. Pace of play always good not like Riverside
2. Great staff always treat you well
3. Ability to get on and play again not like Riverside
In Fresno you only have 2 choices for non private ⛳️ golf
Love Dragonfly
Thanks 😊
Fun course to play!
First time at Dragonfly and had a good time. Great layout. The conditions could be better but considering the rains we have had this season still playable. The greens are still fairly pure bent grass with only a hint of poa around the edges. They are a little shaggy right now so running a little slow. I'm sure once the sun comes out it'll all come together.
