Mr Miserable
Great staff and golf course!! Would love to play there every week, but starting to get expensive with the daylight savings time and weather improvement. May have to wait until next winter to play weekly.
Dragging @ Dragonfly
Slower than Average Round on busy days they need to pair up singles with other players. We followed a Single all day long who was playing behind a twosome.
They should have paired up as a threesome. No excuse for this!
Otherwise DF remains my favorite Public Golf Course.
Ok
Second time playing this course. I enjoyed it the first time. This time, no. . Too many workers on the course. I had workers on 2 greens while I was hitting into it. Didn’t even care to move that big mower, nor did the person move. If they were not on the green, they were working close to it. I almost quit after a few holes.
Great outing
Due to rain prediction, course was not full and play was relatively fast (3.5 hrs). Course is maintained well with extensive work having been done to clean up areas of brush. dormant bermuda fairways played well.
Green lbs Good - Fairways Bad
The winter weather has taken its toll on the course. The greens are in great shape. Rolling smooth and true all day long. Unfortunately that’s where it ends. The fairways are brutal right now. A mixture of grass blends, thin areas , dead (not dormant ) grass and a lot of wet areas.
Give the the course some time to heal. I’m sure the staff will have it back in shape in a month or so (after this next storm passes)
Love this course
Outstanding day at Dragonfly, From the starter
She was so nice, I was a single and got right out.
Course was is good condition, even after the heavy rain 🌧️ we got. Best non private course in Fresno
Golf Now Punishment
Got to the course an hour early and hit a bucket of balls. We noticed there was no one waiting to tee off on the first tee so we decided to go and let the starter know that we were ready to go off early. He advised that our reservation was made through Golf Now at a reduced rate, so we would have to wait until our later tee time 30 minutes out. First time we were ever kept from teeing off a little early because of our GolfNow reduced price reservation.
Great Day Golfing
Course is in winter mode, but is in great shape!! Staff was great and very friendly!
Nice Day for Golf
The weather was beautiful & even though it is still winter & the fairways are dormant they played well with a lot of roll. The pace of play was Great & the greens are not the best I’ve seen them but still in good shape. Dragonfly remains my favorite public golf course in the Fresno Area.
Expensive for winter golf
I like this course and it’s nice for a public course. However for winter golf, pace of play, course conditions in winter they are having you pay too much. I think a $100 on the weekends even for spring time is too much.
The fairways have dormant grass, greens ok, but pace of play is slow. For $100 a round I don’t think they should allow 5 some groups and.need to have a Marshall.
