Dragonfly Golf Club

This place is worth the price every time !! Love the pace of play and the course is in great condition. However there is one bad thing i do have to mention ,some areas are overwatered and get muddy .

I was a member of this course for 25 years and now the conditions are the worst I have ever seen. I hope that commits to you from other players will be passed on to the owners of the course because the greens are getting beaten up due to the water and the softness and the lack of players repairing the ball marks.

Course is close to home and i like playing there but not worth the price. 110.00 for larger course and a cart person that you hardly see isn't worth it. 👍👎

Course has several dry spots, greens that have new sod or are in need of sod repair. This course is usually in great condition but possibly due to hot weather has dry or worn areas near or on the greens. The staff and practice area are great! I will definitely be back.

I’ve played this course Many times and this is the Worst I’ve ever seen it.

1. We tee’d off on hole 1 and 6 guys were on the green working. They had 2 dogs that we’re running in from of the green and pooping. Sprinklers we’re running and the coarse was soaked. We called the pro shop and they couldn’t believe it, they knew nothing about it.

2. The next 2 holes sand all over the greens , missing grass around the greens. Sprinkler’s running so long a four foot wide stream running down the middle towards the green, called the pro shop again, they said yes we can see that, we’ll see what we can do.

3. The sandy greens, missing grass around the greens continued on every hole.

Just not what you would except for this price. The fairways were in better condition.

It was impossible to chip short chips with all this missing grass.

We won’t b back for awhile which is too bad because we really do

like this course.

No ball washers which was tough with muddy wet golf balls. No water either. The water dispensers were empty on the tenth hole at 1:00 pm!

The prices are just too High on a Hot deal even during the week!

Fairways were as good as I've seen them. The greens however need a lot of help. Players are not fixing their divots and the greens are pocked marked with them.

We received no notice that the majority of them had been sanded very recently and had not been tended to to remediate them ready for play.I feel that we should have either been notified of the sanding or at the very least been offered a discount for the round.

I called the golf course and asked if I could use my gift certificate when making a T Time on line. I believe the Name of lady answering the ph was Jennifer. She replied yes that my credit used would only be to hold the t time and I could pay with gift certificate at course. When I booked t time it gave 2 prices for a 12 pm time. $63.99 and 73.99, so I selected the 63.99. I used my card to hold time for 3 players $191 I paid. When I got to the course clerk at desk said I could not use my gift certificate because I already paid GolfNow. I told him No, I booked through Dragonfly golf course. Long heated conversation at the desk between he and I. He won !I was not able to use certificate. No where on the price did it say I was using GolfNow and it shouldn’t even associated the dragonfly website. I was very disappointed with this transaction. I was planning on covering most of total green fees with certificate.

Great track, one of my favorites, come on a hot day at 4pm and finish by 645 on the weekdays…people just need to fix their divots, some of the greens seem like they have a fungus or something especially on the fringes. Won’t stop me from going though, love this place. Shot an 80 from the blues. Good day.

On the night of Sunday, June 23rd, our 16 year old son and 14 year old friend were locked in at Dragonfly golf course. 

The boys had a tee time of 5:30, they are not 18, so they walk with push carts. They have played late in the day many times due to their sports schedules. When they checked in, there was no mention of a specific time to be off the course. After they played the first 9, the clubhouse could see them tee off at 10. Again, no one said anything to them about time constraints. 

The boys said that a person watched them start 14, and at that point, the sun was about down so they headed back to the clubhouse to come home. They loaded the car, and headed out. 1/2 mile up the road, they met a locked gate. They drove back to the clubhouse to find someone to open it for them. 

There were no employees left at the course, they had all left and locked the gate behind them, without checking the course for players, and with a car still in the parking lot. 

The boys tried to find alternate routes to no avail. There was one house, but they were afraid to go up to the house because by this time it was pitch black. They waited out front in the car for a few minutes hoping someone would come out and check on them but no one did. 

We, the 16 year old’s parents, had to go pick them up. They had to park their car up at the course and walk 1/2 mile back to the gate in the pitch black (there are no lights out there) and climb over the gate. 

We understand that sometimes people leave cars at golf courses due to drinking, but there is no excuse for a golf course to leave without a quick drive around to check for players. Especially knowing they have teens on the course starting at 5:30. 

We called Monday morning to let them know what had happened and were met with rude behavior. No regards for the boys’ safety, they just wanted to know if we were looking for a comp. 

We simply stated that if we ran a golf course, we would want to know that two boys had been locked in so that the protocol could be improved. The person on the phone said they would let the managers know when they arrived that day and have them call us. 

We did not receive a phone call. 

We are thankful that the boys’ phones had battery, and that nothing happened, but are extremely disappointed by Dragonfly’s lack of concern.

Beautiful views, tee boxes, fairways and greens! Got stuck behind a foursome of young men who played like they had never played before. Just a tough day when this happens.
