Manteca Park Golf Course

I haven't played Manteca Golf Course in years and I have to say this course is in great condition, the price paid, which included the cart was definitely worth it. I will definitely return more often.

Greens and fairways were in great shape, narrow fairways. Using golf now worked like a champ.

I booked this course to play with a friend just because it was close to her house. when i arrived there I could not believe how great the course looked. The greens fairways and bunkers where all in very good shape. you really need to place your ball on the correct side of the fairway if you want to score well otherwise you can easily get blocked out by the many trees lining the fairways. Oh and did i mention there are plenty of water hazards on this course so be mindful where they are. Pace of play can get slow but it is well worth the trip.

This course is good condition for municipal course. Greens are a little slow but roll pretty true. Not a difficult course if you stay in the mostly generous fairways, LOTS of trees. Has a large putting/chipping green with practice bunker and 2 other practice greens next to the clubhouse. Driving range can only use mats, no grass.

Mature course that was a pleasure to play. Tee boxes could stand some love, greens slow but very playable. Busy for midday Wednesday making for 4 1/2 hour round.

Had a great day. Booked with my son and paired up with a couple of locals. A great foursome , nice guys. Couldn't of had any better weather.We had a 1050 start. By the end of the first 9,everybody bailed. Had the course pretty much to ourselves for the back 9.

The day I played the pace of play was a little slow, but not too bad. The greens were the best I have ever seen. I made some great puts. The fairways were narrow on some holes with tall trees lining both sides. Water came into play on a few holes. If you can hit them straight and long off the tee, you will do very well on this course. Some parts of the course were under repair. (Dry lake)

Have played a few time on this course greens were in good shape fairways OK few bad spots but i think the weather was most of the cause. I wish it was a little closer to me i would play it more. A good value and fun to play . Seems i heard more then normal people calling FORE. I guess because fairway are next to each other so keep your heads up

Greens were very nice. Fairways and Tee Boxes were terrible. The pace of play was terrible. They sent off a lot of twosomes

Nice course, slow pace due to older crowd but lots of shade to wait under.

First time I have played this course since about 1995. It was in great shape for being a drought year. Greens were softer then expected, but very consistant on the entire course. Fairways are narrow, but straight shots are rewarded with good chances at the greens.

Fairly nice course. A little overbooked, can be very slow.

My first time playing this course, and overall I enjoyed it. The course has a kind of tree lined, park land feel to it. It is not overly long, but the trees really come into play, creating some narrow fairways, which place a premium on hitting accurate drives. Hitting out from under the trees is no fun at all. The maintenance was good, the grass is still mostly green even on the fairways despite the drought. My one complaint about the maintenance would be that the grass on the tee box was unusually lush and tall. I had to really tee my ball up high. The greens had a fair amount of grain to them as well. As a first timer on the course, I found the hole routing and lack of signage confusing enough to actually get lost twice, which has never happened to me before. The course is quite flat, and walking it was a breeze. Overall, a nice course which is a good change from some of the other courses in the area.

Considering the drought in California, the course is in good condition with relatively green fairways., The greens were slower than normal. One can definitely get some very reasonable green fees at this course on golfnow.

Fairways and green in nice condition, although greens a bit bumpy because they were well watered and soft. On average, not many muni courses in this good of condition. Fixed a few ball marks (in addition to my own) on some of the greens...my pet peeve is that other players will not bend over to fix obvious ball marks. Pro shop was well stocked. For the money, an excellent value.

Good place for a novice and advanced player to play together.

Play was fun and the course was in pretty good shape.
