Table Mountain Golf Club

We were on pace for 5 hour round and left early. The course can be fun but I have been there five times on week days and the pace of play is gallactically slow. It's peppered with slow players and fivesomes. We were allowed to pass one group of five just to be behind another group of five with five golf carts. Looked like a convention. We noticed they were behind a fivesomes as well. I asked after we quit early if that is standard and the lame answer was, we did let one group of five tee off, but didn't know about the others. It's a nice course ruined by slow play. Nothing worth 5 hour rounds.

Considering the weather we've had the course was in great shape. Fairways mower, green in great shape.

A high school match was playing on the front 9 and we were told it would be slow until we reached the back nine. We asked if we could start on the back first and were reluctantly told O.K. When we reached what was our 17th hole, the group we would have been following if he had started on the front was just reaching the ninth hole. In other words, we played 17 holes in the time it took the last high school group to play 9.

I fully support golf as a high school sport but pro shop staff needs to be more creative with how they handle other golfers on the days there are high school matches.

Table Mountain Golf Club is a very nice course to play. The greens are fast and the ball rolls true to the putt. If you haven't played it your missing a great experience.

A great course for big hitters. Open fairways with easy views of almost all flags.

I have never played this course before .The course was in great condition from fairways to greens and the staff was great!!! Pace of play was terrible due to a tournament going on ahead of us. Took us 5 hours to play. Good thing we weren't in a big hurry. The 4some ahead of us didn't have a clue of golf etiquette .

This course is pretty flat with some man made ups and downs. The fairways are fairly wide and easy to read. However the fairways are rock hard. When you hit your drive, the balls will roll a little more than the average grassy fairway. Also when you hit your 2nd shot from these hardware fairways, your club hits hard, it won't take a chunk of grass. It's extremely hard to get under your ball for backspin.

They course had recently aerated the greens which made them hard to putt, basically adding one stroke per green (18 holes).

I don't care for the driving range as you have to hit off of the fake grass rugs, these do not help your game.

The practice putting greens are really good here.

The staff is awesome and very friendly.

Overall I liked the course, but won't make it one of my favorite courses. I will play it again when I am in the area.

Well kept course, greens were in good condition but a little fast. All the staff were very helpful and nice. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone.

Always a great time at Table Mountain! Very flat and simple course makes for fun and easy play. Has a few challenging holes that require a decent at best tee shot, but nothing too extreme. Staff is always professional and courteous!

Let me say that I will play it again when it is dry. I gave it poor on course conditions because it was soaking wet, not anyplace where you could stand and not be standing in water. It is a nice little course with some nice features, not real long but fun to play. Has a few forced carries, a couple of them over water but nothing to worry about. They have a nice putting green, chipping area and a very nice driving range which was closed due to water. Greens were in good shape, sand traps were OK but had some water in some and the fairways were very poor, have to see what they look like when they are dry. Hooked up with a local for the last 4 holes and he said he joined this club and can play all the golf he wants for $90 a month. If that is true anyone who lives up here should take advantage of this. Also the 19th hole looks very nice, didn't go in but looks very clean and looks over the course. This is a course that anyone can play so I do recommend it.

The coarse was forgiving in the fairways, the ball can get away from you and be put on a hardpan. the greens were well taken care of considering the drought. I plan on playing again. practice green and driving range are taken care of as well.

This facility is in Good condition with great food and friendly staff. Only complaint is they charge a 5% fee for online reservations for 2-players on top of GolfNow's online fee. Called GolfNow, they said that 300 courses nation wide have started this added charge.

I was in the area and decided to give Table Mountian a try. The course is an old style, tree lined style course. It is very walkable with the tee boxes close to the greens.

The course was in good shape with the rough grown a little long. This made an otherwise easy course a little more challenging. The greens rolled good, though they were a little slow for me.

I would play the course again when I am in the area. The food and drinks were good and the staff was friendly.
