A nice course
I enjoy playing at Table Mountain. It always has good weather and the course is well maintained.
Great greens
This course has some of the best greens in the area.
Thank you for your review! We hope to see you for another round soon!
great place to play golf
Started playing here a few weeks ago after getting tired of being mistreated at another local course amongst other problems. Its a little bit more of a drive coming from Chico, but it's definitely worth it in my opinion. It's a great course that plays pretty straightforward. No tricky shots around bends or elevation changes. Bang it down the fairway and you'll have a great chance at a GIR. Just don't end up too far in the rough or your ball will most likely be directly behind a tree, but sometimes you'll catch a break and have a clear shot at the pin. The greens are easily the best around and play perfectly for the average players game, not too fast or too slow. My only complaint about this place is that they allow groups of over 4 for their members which can severely slow the pace of play. One time my buddy and I were stuck behind a group of 10 members playing skins who decided to go out in 2 groups of 5 rather than 2 groups of 3 and a 4some. Other than that, this place is great place to play golf.
Thank you for the detailed review. We are glad you enjoy the course and will work to keep the pace of play up.
Straightforward golf....
Played this for the first time after getting tired of the rock hard conditions at Bidwell Park and the goofy design at Tuscan Ridge. What a great, basic golf course in wonderful condition. Nothing tricky here, plenty of room to hit driver on all the 4's and 5's. Excellent greens with some subtle breaks - they were rolling out REALLY well the day I played. Nothing fancy or tricked out here - just basic golf well priced and in great shape as well.
Thank you very much for the review! We take pride in our greens and are glad you enjoyed your round!
Fun Course to play on the Weekend
Clean and fun course. Well maintained fairways and greens.
We are glad you enjoyed the course! Thank you very much for your feedback, we look forward to your next visit!
Nice course
I've played here probably 6-8 times, and it's a nice kept up course with some nice par 5's. I would recommend this course over any other local course, it has that, "PGA hopeful feel too it" friendly staff, good food, beer.
Table Mountain
They had plugged the greens 2 days prior to us playing. This made for a two putt maximum, because there was a thick coating of fertilizer on all the greens. It was virtually impossible to judge greens beyond four feet of the cup. This shows that the Staff is taking measures now to provide excellent golf for the spring and summer.
Repeat performance please
If you want a very enjoyable day of golf, go play table mountain. I chose to play from the white tees, but I probably should have played from the blue tees. I shot even par on the back nine! Everything was lush and green. It was nice to hit off these fairways to well kept greens. I've played here a number of times and always look forward to coming back.
Fun for all levels of play
I enjoy playing Table Mountain Golf Course on a regular basis. It is easy to get to, very accommodating for all levels, and well suited to walking. The staff and pro-shop amenities are good, they have a large fleet of golf carts, and a relaxing environment at the 19th hole with a full bar and tv monitor with the golf game or football to watch while enjoying your favorite beverage. I am a member and the monthly dues are the best around. Green fees are about middle of the road, but they offer a twilight rate, senior rate, and deals on Golf Now. I would recommend this golf course to anyone passing through, or with in a 50 mile radius.
This course is great for all levels of golf
I play Table on a regular basis. The course is in great shape going into the winter months. The staff is always friendly and helpful. We usually eat and the course and find the food good and a good value for what you pay for.
Had a great time
The course was in good shape and the staff was very friendly. It was my first time playing and I will definitely come back again
Any time I win over my son, A mere 30 years, I feel good except for my back. If you can hit the ball straight, you should have a good score. A few ov
Come play this course. The greens are ok to read and you may sink a 50 or two.
good average course
Good course for most. Still have to make shots. If your straight then you should score well.
You will not lose many balls here.
The course was in very good condition, especially for Central Valley August weather. Fairways and roughs are well trimmed. Since fairway are usually separated by narrow rough and trees, you shouldn't lose any balls except to the few water hazards that are sprinkled throughout the course. There are numerous fairway and green-side bunkers to keep you on your game. The food isn't fancy but reasonably priced and good. They have a practice green and a separate chipping area. I didn't use the driving range.
great staff and facility
As I drove down past the worst managed golf course in butte county, the one between chico and paradise, I headed out for a nice round at Table Mountain. It was refreshing to find, once again, a staff that cares about its customers and the game of golf. Great !
Great Course
Course is in great shape. Had a blast! Very forgiving fairways.
5 star course for the price of a 3 star!
This is my home course and i thought i would just take time tell everyone on here how awesome the course is. The greens and tee boxes and fairways are always beautiful! The staff works constantly to keep up the course, the brand new pro shop and grill is amazing! Everyone needs to take time to make it out to the course! You will not be let down!
The course and clubhouse keeps improving
Good day to play, staff friendly, good lunch, fun course to play.
Generally nice wide fairways; couse and greens in good condition
Played on a quiet Saturday. The course wasn't crowded, which made for a pleasant round of golf. In spite of the drought, they are staying on top of the course and the fairways and greens were in pretty good condition. It was extremely hot out there. Be sure to stock up on water before heading out to the first tee.
Excellent day of golf
Was able to get right to play and had a great day thought pro shop worker could have been a little nicer but overall a fantastic experience
Thank you very much for the feedback! We take pride in our greens and work to ensure they are in great condition!
