River Island Country Club

If you like being in the mountains, your gonna love this course. I enjoy it for the layout and where this course is located, dropped into the middle of classic California hills and mountains. Feels like a day at the park until you realize your score (or my score).

This course is an outstanding value! Some elevated tees gives you a good challenge. Shade and water is abundant. I wish they had a food/drink cart on the course.

I have wanted to play this course for quite a while now. Finally played earlier this summer. I have been back four times. This is a very challenging course. I would play here every week if I only had the time.

The course is in amazing shape and the fairways are great the greenw are awesome. The weather was not the greatest but not nobody’s fault. Great experience overall.

Though we weren't striking the ball well, we had a great time. If you need to be outside when it's hot and humid, it may as well be at River Island.

This was the third time that I've played River Island and the second time in two weeks. The course was well maintained, especially the greens. The Tule River is still receiving snowmelt so the river is beautiful. The weather was perfect with slight, cooling breezes throughout the day.

The course is in immaculate shape. Very friendly staff! Loved it will be playing there a bunch more!

The course was in good shape and it’s nice to be accommodated so quickly and at a good price. Although it gets backed up and is really hot out there it is a nice place to play.

Teed off at my tee time, course played nice. And a descent pace of play with as many people who were playing. I recommend trying to play this course to anyone who hasn't. I know I'll be playing again reel soon.

Coarse lay out was challenging. Some trees off the tee made it intraquet mostly in the path could use some tree trimming. The greens were nice but also need some care on level of cut as your approaching the green. The center fairway grass was to tall not allowing the ball to travel further distance and would hide your ball to the point that you could not find it. Pace was slow but other than those simple corrections it was nice .

Reserved my tee time in advanced. Flew in from out of state. Course was a mess. No carts or push carts were available that day. (My cart ran out of power on a previous visit a few months earlier. Had to walk the last 3 holes.) Carts are on their last leg by the way. So I asked for a discount on my recent visit, since my only option was to walk. Didn’t get one, of course. I didn’t want to make a big deal of it. The thing that bothered me the most though, was the terrible, sarcastic attitude of the young man that tended to me. That was unacceptable! It seems like the maintenance/upkeep of this course and it’s customer service keeps going down further down the drain. Will never play there again!

Love the Course but the slow plate aren't letting faster players or single players through when their playing with 3 or 4 players. Then their are some that take their time when it's not necessary on the Greens. Trust me their not pro's.. Other than that Love the Course.

River Island is a good course and the value for booked tee time was great. Appreciate River Island working with Golf Now to provide great discounted prices. Good time today

I played this golf course many times and I do not get tire of playing it. its a country type of course. its always in great shape. Ill recommend to all my friends.
