No ranger to address incredibly slow play, terrible food at the turn and way too many geese crapping on the course so that it stinks.

Other than the starter who was engaging and positive, it did not seem like anybody wanted to be there working.

I was expecting this course to be overrated based on other recent reviews but it was a nice verity of holes and had tight tricky shot shaping decisions off the tee. Overall, it was a decent course. Note: It is true what others are saying about the greens, they are bare in spots and the biggest detractor, they really need to fix (and it looks like they are trying) to justify the price. However the greens, where grass was good, were cut short and rolled well. The pins were in interesting spots with some fair slope to contend with. Don’t expect to come here pull driver much you can easily score with a well placed shots 220 yds off the par 4 & 5 tees. The perimeter holes of the course are very tight you definitely want to focus on keeping the ball in the fairway. I’d play here again for a good deal rate or if I was having a hard time finding a tee time elsewhere.

This was my first golf visit to Palm Springs. I played three different courses, and this was THE most delightful day. Was this the most elite course I could play in Palm Springs? Of course not. But much more importantly, it was a special day. The staff is warm, friendly, and welcoming. They do in fact, make you feel like a member of the club, even though it may be (like me) the first time that you’ve ever played the course, TJ and his staff are terrific. So nice. So kind. The golf course is fairly tight unlike most of the tracks that I understand are typical of Palm Springs/Palm Desert golf. The course is well-maintained. Those that criticize the supposed tire tracks on several of the grains mistake this for the fact that there is some disease. It happens. But these greens roll beautifully and they are fair. The grounds crew has sanded the greens in such a fashion that even with the disease you get a good roll. Like so many other courses, this track is not a sliced up condo course. It is laid out very nicely and quite pretty. I rated this course five stars because when you add it up, the experience is truly five star. When I come back to Palm Springs next, this will absolutely be on my list. Kudos to the entire team. And THANK YOU 😊

The course had a beautiful layout. The pace of play was excellent. The staff was very friendly. Only negatives were a few bad places on the greens and whoever set pins obviously was not a golfer, ridiculous. Food and beverage prices very high as well. 2 beers and 2 dogs at the turn over $40

Fun track that is in great shape. Enjoyed the pace of play especially for a weekend round. Good value for the $.

Very nice course in the best condition of the ones we played. some holes a little quirky but overall very nice and we would play it again We were flying out that evening so location worked well to play shower and head to the airport.

We've played this course lots in the last 3 winters and love it. The prices have gone up but so have they everywhere else. The staff especially the people who get yours clubs ready, the starter and those whho clean your clubs are so friendly and welcoming. The inside staff are very helpful too. The course is layed out well and good yardages for all to play from. The only negative would be the patio restaurant. It used to be so good but now it had little variety and was mediocre at best. They only had 3 things from the menu available. The main restaurant is only open 3 nights a week now.

Had a nice round at Desert Island. Rode as it was included but would be a very easy course to walk. Fairways were in great shape, a greens had some repairs going on but 95% of surface was fine and rolled nicely. Some fun shots over water. Will definitely return.
