The National Golf & Country Club

Play was a little slow and that was the only issue. Good condition, great staff, super greens. Will be really outstanding when the homes are all built and the trees are grown in. Will definitely play again and recommend you try it.

New course with very good manicure a top golf course where you can play for less because of the surrounding under construction. In two years the price will triple….

If you need amenities to enjoy your golf then come back in a couple of years but in the meantime you’ll miss some great golf. If construction bothers you same deal BUT…if great golf is what you want then “come play”. Excellent conditions, very friendly staff a Gordon Lewis masterpiece. As a former member of Colonial Country Club, having also recently played Babcock Ranch and many other of his courses here in Florida, The National at Ave Maria is my personal favorite. If Gordon Lewis was given unlimited land and funds this would be the result including a 712 yard par 5. More practically, the layout is perfect if you enjoy target golf and having to plan every shot. I guarantee you will never get board and will get to use every club in your bag. The tees and fairways are very well maintained and the greens roll perfectly, not too fast not too slow. I’ll saved the best for last. We paid only $30 each for a 4 hour round on a Friday afternoon with a beautiful sunset. Try that anywhere in Naples this time of year. Now for apre’ golf drive 5 minutes into Ave Maria to either the Rusty Putter or the Pub and Grill for great food and drink also we got to hear a fantastic jazz group. Treat yourself to great day of golf.

Needs 100 s of more trees vegetation on the course.The tee markers are off? A obvious par 4 or par 5 have a par 3 sign on it?
