About
Located in Ave Maria, Panther Run Golf Club is less than 30 minutes from Naples but it has a much more secluded feel. The course was built with a strong dedication to preserving the landscape's beautiful natural features and significant environmental resources, even as residences started being developed. An abundance of lakes and waterways characterizes the golf course, all of which are filled with alligators and other native wildlife. It is nearly impossible to play a round without spotting a gator. In addition to the 13 holes with water, there are more than 60 bunkers strategically placed throughout. The challenges are balanced by generous greens and wide-open, player-friendly fairways. Panther Run G.C. also boasts an expansive practice facility that includes five practice greens, a short game area with two sand bunkers, and an aqua driving range.

Great shape
Course was in great shape couple bad spots on edges of greens but you can see they are working on that but overall great shape

Great course we had a nice time the staff was overly friendl and got us out early,what a nice experience
Pace of play not great
Seems like they snuck a 4some out in front of us last minute because it was jammed at the tee and the pace of play was rough.

Nice experience at Panther Run
I’ve played Panther Run once a year as a Naples seasonal resident. It is worth the drive. I was able to get one of the reduced rates, which made it a fair value for this time of year. Course in great shape, has generous wide fairways. Traps are in pristine shape. Small bucket of balls included in price. Friendly staff before and after round.

Misleading
Reserved for 18 holes however with an extremely slow pace of play and no ranger to push I was only able to play 6 holes when I was charged for 18. Upon arrival we were told we had less than two hours to play 18 due to the closing time. Very misleading when on golf now it states 18 hole round. Listing it as a 9 hole round with half the price would’ve been more adequate. The rate to play just 6 holes is robbery

Nice layout,..greens need some work
Played this course many times and I really like the layout. Very playable for all abilities levels. Several greens were recently damaged, guessing from the recent cold temps, and are in need of repairs. Rolled a little slow too. Would expect they would be a little faster at a club like this.
The rusty putter bar/restaurant is very nice with great food selections and good prices.

Private CC Quality
This course is out of the way of anywhere I go in Florida, but if I am remotely close I go out of my way to play it. The condition of the course is excellent. I get to see a lot of great courses across the county in my job and this one is one of the best not just in Florida but the country as well. The fairways are in such good shape that you feel like you are hitting off a practice mat. The greens are excellent and the tee boxes as well. The challenge with any South Florida course is to make the flat boring terrain of this part of the state interesting. This design accomplishes that difficult feat. It’s pricy. But worth it.

Fun Round at Panther Run
Excellent course for all levels. Most fairways are pretty wide open but avoid the water on all holes because huge gators basking in sun are everywhere. Greens are fair. Nice to see a course that provides a bucket of range balls with green fees, should be standard practice for all courses charging over $150 a round.

Wide open fairways, large greens.
Greens were a little slow. They had been treated with sandy mix of some sort.
