Sherwood Forest golf course
Course was tough to play do to flooding and rain, fairways get a 6 out of 10, and greens are decent but you can obviously tell they have been painted
The price for the course is high for the weekend and stays the same during the week even if it’s twilight hours,
Thank you for taking the time to review and rate the course. Unfortunately, with the recent rain, we have seen an increase in wet greens. The will, however, subside once the rain stops. We do not paint the greens, and we do increase our prices on the weekend. We hope to see you back once the weather improves and thank you again for the review.

I haven’t played Sherwood since last summer & aside from the fact the course was soggy & muddy from recent rain I was pleased with the improvements made on the course since last summer.

The course was very green and beautiful! From tee box to green every hole was in excellent shape!! The staff was very friendly and professional.

Not worth it
I grew up playing here, and i never knew about quality. This course will always be a pleasant place to be for me but I can’t pay 55$ for a round here. The fact that I can go to Blackhorse or Bayonet and play a round for less money is absolute robbery. I understand Fresno doesn’t have a good selection of courses and things are expensive now. That doesn’t give them the right to charge more money than beautiful courses on the coast. It’s winter and they charge 55$ at 2pm on a weekday.

Solid Course
Play this course quite a bit and it’s a great course. My main complaint is that the first hole green has been under repair for what seems like over a year and has a temp green in its place which is super annoying. Other than the that the greens are always in good condition with the occasional dead spot and ball marks. For its price it’s one of the better options in the valley

Staff was welcoming and helpful. Course fairways were a little rough and greens were recently punched but overall nice.

Not worth the price
There are a lot of courses for less or nearly the same within one hour radius that are way better for the $$ this course is not in good conditions at all for how much it costs. The staff is very friendly though. Only upside
