Sherwood Forest Golf Club

I moved out of the area a few years ago. I came back and completely enjoyed my round.

we had a 1200 tee time with no one ahead of us for a few tee times we were able to play at our pace.

The pro shop staff was great.

I came prepared....I don't know what changed but there were absolutely no mosquito issues during this round.

The course was amazing. When I come home to clovis I will continue to schedule a round a Sherwood

This course has had problems for years with their greens but heard it was better. NOPE! 6 greens are good but the other 12 are just purely horrible. They are super sandy and soft and they have to leave them long and sort bouncy all over the place. Fun layout, if they ever get their you know what together,.. you know. But as long as the daughter still owns it she has never had a clue how to get it back to the old shape it was in. Crabgrass in a LOT of greens shows they just don't care. Save your money and play Madera CC or Ridge Creek in Dinuba.

Very nice course, we have played it many times. I’m an average golfer in my Sixties and I find it relaxing but challenging. The tree lined fairways make each hole seem narrow with little room to miss the fairways. The course was in great shape and the pace of play was pretty casual. We go there a few times a year and I highly recommend to everyone.

Green is still need some work but a little better than last month.

Grew up hearing about sherwood, became a golfer and its been my home since. Conditions arent the best recently because people are neglecting to fix divots snd ball marks and the temp greens while they get fresh grass. Carts could use an update but overall recommend this course if you’re under 100 because the trees will discourage alot of new golfers

3 Temporary greens but still charging full price. That’s all I got to say.

4 of the holes had no greens. Been here 3 times in the last year and each time there has been at least 2 holes with no greens at all. Seems like they are scraping and doing the greens again, which is a good, but why charge full price for what is essentially 14 holes?

Had I known that there were no greens on 4 holes, I would have went somewhere else. At the very least they should notify folks before they book a tee time.

Staff is friendly etc... Only issue is the course condition stuff.

This course is always a great place to play. Usually the course is not over crowded. The course and greens are well maintained. It appears the day I went a couple of greens were being redone. This showed the personnel care about the course. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Really relaxing and love playing here.

The course is getting better still working on the green but looking nice. Thank you
