Elkhorn Golf Club

Fun course to play and also have a meal also. My only I guess improvement on the course is water inside the ball washing stations out on the course. Other than that I absolutely love playing this golf course. Definitely a fun course and I believe course management & ball placement is a premium. Get out and play Elkorn 👍🏽. And a big thank you to the hardworking grounds crew & green maintenance crews , appreciate you 🏆

Perfect weather with the temperature in mid70’s and the best pace of the play made our game enjoyable. The friendly pro shop staff was quite considerate and efficient in making the necessary adjustments when we walked into the pro shop without much time to spare. We were a minute late for our tee time because I fell asleep while waiting our tee time. Due to miscalculation of the expected travel time from our home to the course, we got there earlier and instead of trying to play early, I decided to take a short nap but overslept.

The greens had some residual sand and the holes from last week’s aeration and very slow. The fairways were cleaned, sand bunkers needed more sand. The pace of the play was excellent. We finished the game in just shy of 3 hours.

My only real complaint is that the greens have been punched and sanded within the last week. There was no notification on either GolfNow or the courses website. No notification from pro shop during check in. The course is in good shape has a nice layout, but the greens were bad, bumpy and slow

I will definitely be going back. I believe there was only 1 green that they were having small issues with but other than that it was outstanding. The staff was friendly and facility was clean

Had a tee time of 11am, we started out ok with a 4 some ahead of us. They played a little slow, but no worries until the tenth tee. When we got to the tenth tee this 4 some was just sitting there. Two more 4 some's came up behind us and we were all waiting for a young lady to bring food to their group. One person in our foursome went to the pro shop and asked if there was a Marshal on the course. He went out right away and had the people move over 2 tee boxes. Kudo's to the marshal. Alas buy the time we got to the 16th tee we had caught them again. If you have people that are beginners playing with you , you should have the courtesy to let the better players to go on past you. Still, the course was in good shape and I will be playing there again this weekend.

Add water stations every 3 or 4 holes. Can’t imagine no water in the middle of July........

Second day in a row that I played this course, the wind was crazy. At least 40-60 mph winds, taking the ball all over the course. Two branches broke not far from us. Course was in very good shape and the greens were moderately fast. Overall good day. Will play again soon.

The guys in the pro shop were extremely friendly and fun. Players on the course were friendly and helpful. We were travelling and just stopped for a quick round of golf on our way thru town. They let us out early and even let us take our dog with us in the cart. Was so wonderful of them. Would absolutely play again and recommend this course to our Canadian friends who travel this way yearly.. L&M

Well kept course but staff doesn’t care about pace of play. I’ve played here atleast 10 times in last few months because it’s close but every time the round of golf will go over 5 hours easy. They allow groups of 5 and 6 to go out clogging up the course. Last 2 times I didn’t not finish my round, 3 -1/2 hours to play the front 9 because of a group of inconsiderate old lady members and an absent Marshall. I will not be back for a while, Elkhorn needs to get their act together and stop allowing members to do as they please. Unfortunately I was considering becoming a member but I will look elsewhere.

After a lot of rain recently, the course was in excellent shape overall. Bunkers and greens were excellent.

Greens were immaculate. Fast true and beautiful. Sand was there and well kept in bunkers. Everything else was just ok. Numerous tee boxes were in bad shape. Fairways were spotty at best. Overgrown areas, missing grass in others. Could be a lot better, but pretty decent for the money.

Today was a 5 Star day.. I alway enjoy playin Elkhorn

Greens hard and fast. They roll true. Course was fun and challenging. Actual sand in the bunker. Only critique is of the players that do not fix divots on greens. Greens still top notch in the area
