Tracy GCC
mostly dry conditions (July) with dirt and hardpan areas off the fairway. The greens were in very good condition and QUICK! Make sure you roll a few before your round. I’m a decent putter, and I think I 3-jacked 8 holes.
Valley Venue
Good course that’s local, not too hard for beginners but offers challenges for better players too. Some holes are noisy by the freeway but good layout otherwise. Can be pricey but score a hot deal a take advantage.
Greens
Staff was good they were out of golf carts so it was a waiting game till some got charged. Layout of course was nice if you like playing in dead grass and dirt this is course for you. Greens were the only thing good to play on there. I don’t see this as a country club. But for the price I paid I see why.
Over charged
They charged me an extra $50 for the round. Only supposed to be charged $50
Love the layout, course needs improvement
I have played TG&CC for several years now and enjoy playing here. I come here because the greens are always super fast (not on this round though).
On this round I did see a big improvement of the greens. I really enjoy playing here and having a drink in the club house after the round is super fun.
If you have not tried it yet, you should give a try. Everyone working here has been very nice.
OK for the value!
I have played this course a couple of times before, and the only thing that was negative is not much help from the pro shop people! I also experienced this last time playing where the first hole is open, but they would not allow me to start play and that I needed to share a cart with another player! Well, another player never showed and I had to find out by myself that the other 2 players with my tee time were already on the first tee box!
Fortunately, they were great to play with and I enjoyed their company, but I doubt that I will return to this course!!
Merced player
The course was in good condition the greens were punched and sanded 1week ago so it was acceptable but slow puttig
Golf cart bad
My golf cart die on the 12 hole and the other guy cart barely make it to the 18. Also happen a week before, cart die on the 17.
Good Deal & Track!
If your looking for something to truly test your abilities this is the place! Course is setup to challenge you, not a cookie-cutter course! Wind could & can be an issue, but still a nice change of pace!!!
Price is right, staff are friendly & courteous! Would highly recommend giving it a try!
