Brentwood Golf Club - Creekside/Hillside Course

Course conditions not great but still a good value for the price. Nice layout.

This course was great 20 years ago but who ever manages it now has let it fall in major disrepair. I would not consider it a golf course more of a place just to hit some balls for $35. Hopefully the this place gets new management and turns it back into a golf course

Course is playable but needs a lot of work. Bunkers are not at all workable. Fairways needs to be trimmed and replaced with new grass. Greens needs some work also. Maybe 3 out of 18 holes are decent. They should lower the price compatible to the course conditions. Our friends cart needs to be replaced twice due to breakdown.

Several holes are in extremely poor shape. What should be fairways length grass is covered with some kind of shaggy weed. Recently sodded greens have been scalped in patches.

$20 round would be adequate. You should not lose balls on the fairway.

Good value during the week. Here's what to expect:

* Original course design was great. The changes made by current ownership are not so great.

* Tee boxes: Many are sloppy but overall 6/10

* Fairways: condition as far as overwatering or dry areas was relatively good. However, the fairways needed a major mowing. Many just blended into the rough.

* Greens: They had a major issue here in spring and then it came back nicely mid year but now many they look like a tiller went over them. Grass is there but literally is so bumpy even the best struck putts veer offline

* Traps: Continue to be a mess...mostly hardpan or mud

Overall I do enjoy playing here because of the remnants of the original design. No jaw dropping views but a fair track. The owner needs to invest much more to keep it in better shape.

Got a special price on Golf.com and it had been a while since I played this course (1st time about a year ago). Played single and put with a 3-some of good guys. We all agreed, The lack of a driving range and putting green hurt the business. The course is decent, but the greens are not good at all. Just fixing the greens would be a major improvement. Probably won't be playing here for a while.

I played this course a few months ago, it was bad enough then. But sadly passage of time hasn’t helped any, fairways are like soggy cow pastures, greens are patchy .

The staff were extremely nice but that’s where the good parts end.This course was extremely disappointing. The bunkers are literally dirt with grass growing in them. No sand at all! The course is under construction in areas and dilapidated. I would not recommend this course to anyone.

This course could be really good but the owner refuses to maintain the condition of the course. The fairways have not been mowed and the grass is like playing out of the rough in the middle of the fairway.

The bunkers are unkept, full of rocks and hardpan with little to no sand. The greens that were almost completely killed 6 months ago are still in very sad and inconsistent shape.

Full price for the was this course is maintained should be $25.

Nothing truly great. Houses close by everywhere. Narrow fairways. The greens are horrible more dirt than green. The bunkers are legit dirt rocks. Not to expensive so it makes sense. Have to drive by neighborhoods and cross streets to finish the course not fun. Staff was nice so there’s that. I wouldn’t go again but I can see why people go because of the cheaper prices.

The course was in horrible condition, overgrown vegetation fairways weren’t cut, greens are shot, the ponds were mostly empty giving the course a sore eye. But the worse part of all was the staff at the pro shop. I had to wait 30 minutes because she would not let me tee off early, nobody in front and nobody behind me, just plain dumb, oh and forget about social distancing because it’s mandatory that you have to ride with another golfer, if you want your own cart it’s an additional 20 dollars, for a round that you already paid for with cart included. Never again and not recommending anyone to play there, I’m sure glad Shadow Lakes is just down the street.
