Course had no character. The greens ran at a nice pace. The fairways when cut way to low. The tee boxes where under repair and looked like nobody knew what the were doing. Not to mention it’s nearly impossible to get a tee time .

Course staff was unfriendly and had a hip on their shoulder..

You all need to get some greatfulness. It’s lame that you all have a chip on your shoulder!
From, what Iv been told, you SoCal people have fulfilled it.
Lame, and lack of personality.
Course, is pretty simple. I personally didn’t, play well. First experience, also.
I was told other. I wouldn’t waste my time again.

For a public course, in Venice, this is great place - fairway and green conditions were good, staff very friendly and the coffee/bar is very nice.
Only downside was the pace of play

Solid urban course
good weather and pace of place was good. Sunday at 8am and got done in 2.25h.
Pretty flat course, with not a lot of bunkers. Fairway grass could have been better on the upkeep but you get what you pay for. $20 for 9-hours in LA isn't bad at all on the weekend.
