I make a tee time for two and show up and they hand me two keys for the golf cart. I point to my 6 year old and tell them his foot can’t reach the gas pedal. She says ok and we go out the first tee with both of us inside the cart. Then a Marshall comes over who really wanted to do his job, and orders my 6 year old out of the cart or tells us to leave and get a refund. Apparently this is an LA county rule. How does this make any logical sense? So I can give my six year clubs out of his bag, give him golf balls, give him water, but he can’t sit next to me in a golf cart?? Can someone explain the logic of this to me? We have truly gone off the rails trying to bankrupt every business out there.

Rain started as we teed off. They did not close the course. Play 4 holes and quit.

Conditions are very good. Greens are running true and pretty smooth.

Westlake is in very good condition and the greens are running smoothly.

The greens are in very good shape.

Course was in great shape and while not a challenge in length, the water hazards and the speedy greens will keep you on your toes. The staff here is always friendly and helpful.

I made tee time for what I thought was Sunday 10/6 as Hot Deal around 10am for what I thought was at 12:15pm. Got to course with my 9 yr old and they said I’m sorry it’s for Monday so I immediately cancelled (2) hrs after booking and 24hrs before actual time and asked them to please honor. They said of course. GolfNow still took the money $43 and I know it’s HotDeal Policy and it’s terrible. I can’t call unless I want to wait 2 hrs to talk to someone and can’t even email. Only write a review. Well I’m done with using this app and service.

Westlake is a short but fun course to play. More times than not, you'll get stuck behind either an elderly group or someone just learning the game, and it makes for a very long round, especially on the weekends. If you can play early on a weekday, I've finished a round as a twosome, in 2 and a half hours. The course is always in good condition, but its flat and the layout is nothing special. The staff is always very nice and welcoming. I always enjoy playing here.

Beautiful short 18 hole course. Not very challenging but is a fun course to play. I enjoy it.

Play was l little slower than usual but conditions are good.

Nice course, pace of play excellent. Greens are a slow though.
