About
Nestled in the foothills of eastern Ventura County, Tierra Rejada Golf Club is known for its picturesque setting and stunning views. The club overlooks the Reagan Presidential Library. Tierra Rejada is unique in that it offers a formidable test for low handicappers from the championship tees but it is also accessible to mid and high handicappers thanks to the Players Course. The 5,600-yard Players Course is a "course within a course" that was designed to keep the game fun for golfers who may not be looking for a tough test. Even though it may be shorter, both golf courses still provide a challenge. There are plenty of ups and downs throughout thanks to the rolling hills and there are a variety of hazards coming into play including water and strategically placed bunkers.

First I’d like to sincerely thank Mrs. Nunez’s quality professionalism overseeing the daily golf shop operations with such refreshing customer service consistency and consideration keeping the wheels rolling, revenue flowing and phone calls into the shop being answered especially for how much action & players Tierra Rejada receives . Assisting our groups organizing our tee off times ensuring our overall Tierra Rejada Experience happy customers =happy spending $$$$ customers. Thank you to all who maintain the consistent Top Notch conditions for the course and beautiful manicured pure smooth fast but not too fast putting greens which will test your nerves and have you coming back for more great times great food drinks and professional courtesy. I’ve been golfing TR for years long before all the Covid adjustments on the course which was handled with the customer’s experience in mind you won’t regret venturing out making TR part of your day. My Only Disappointment is that I Do wish the “ powers” that be would bring back the traditional sense of there birthday golf round options. Personally working in the private hospitality’s golf sector/industries A Birthday Golf Round is a rare scarce commodity that in my 30 years of experience this option brings in Multiple Revenue Opportunities and Yes I’m aware it does discount the birthday boy/girl fee but not including other patrons fees at regular rates which Always Statistically Overbalances out Replenishing any lost Revenues through concessions food/drinks and proshop souvenirs and birthday memorabilia etc Guaranteed.This is my only Disappointing experience hearing, knowing that someone thought it was a good idea business wise to Abolish this savvy business tactic that would Potentially Attract More Golfers and there Families and Friends to enjoy a birthday golf outing at Tierra Rejada Generating Easy $$$$MONEY. Please reconsider this money making opportunity and thanks again for everything 🤙🍻⛳️🫡✌️

Beautiful views, tricky layout
Front nine is “mountain golf” - tricky hole layout, some holes a little gimmicky. Back nine much more traditional hole design, Lovely views and very nice staff in the beautiful little restaurant “The Ranch”. Overall a very nice experience.

Exceptional Golf Course
Exceptional Golf, course with challenging conditions, nice golf carts with GPS and ice, coolers friendly staff great course amenities live weekend entertainment close to my home couldn’t ask for a better situation

First time playing
Went for my grandads 80th birthday and had a very fun time playing this course for the first time.

Private event
Booked a 2:50 tee time and arrived at 1:30 to find that the course, restaurant, bar and all public seating there in were closed for a private event which ran late and caused a backup of public tee times scheduled afterwards. The clubhouse did not address the problem or announce tee times for groups so the first tee became a mess of people trying to organize themselves and tee off. Additionally, there was no beverage cart available , so with the closed restaurant, and “no outside food or beverages” clause it was a 7 hour round in 90 deg heat without hydration, but lots of frustration. Great course, play it all the time, but the lack of notice and contingency planning was unacceptable.
