Interlocken Golf Club - Sunshine/Vista
About
The Sunshine/Vista Course at the Interlocken Golf Club is one of three courses offered at the facility. The courses were designed by a team of famous golfers, David Graham who was a U.S. Open Champion in 1981 and Gary Parks. They are all nine-hole courses that are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The mountainous terrain creates dramatic elevation changes. Interlocken Golf Club's greens are difficult to read and feature lots of undulation. There are also water hazards and bunkers that come into play. The beautiful scenery of the course allows for beautiful views and sometimes golfers can even see a fox or deer roaming the golf course.

First timer
We had a wonderful time, course was great, blind spots, not so much. Lol lost a few balls. Greens were amazing,. Tricked my ability to read them. Loved the challenge. Will definitely be back for more.
Awesome course!
I love this course and the starting officials are the best I’ve ever seen.
Rain Out
We did not get reimbursed for our tee time after paying $310 at the course during a rainout. We only finished 6 holes and were very disappointed in our overall experience at Omni Interlocken.
Enjoyed the course but the constant loud noise from the airplanes above was irritating.
Always Fun
I love this golf course! Even with it being winter conditions, the course is kept in fabulous shape. The views are incredible as well. Staff is always nice.
Jason and staff were above and beyond for accommodations and friendliness
I’ve never taken the time to leave a review on GolfNow, but I figured they more than deserved one- especially Jason in the pro shop. This was my first time playing here, and I’ll admit, I had always assumed this course would be underwhelming and not provide the best value for the cost. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that to not be the case, and incredibly impressed with basically every aspect of the experiment.
I played by myself and played 2 balls; zero pace of play issues (granted it isnt peak season, but still).. highly satisfied I was able to play both of my balls and practice different shots etc and not have to worry about people in front or behind me.
Very chill round, which is that opposite of what I had always assumed this course would be.
ALSO, Jason allowed me to borrow a very nice 3wood for my round, which was amazing of them to do,
AND, since I played at an odd afternoon time where I finished 9 holes with a decent amount of time before dark, but not enough time to get another 9 holes in, Jason allowed me to play another few holes on the other 9 hole course he recommended. Like I said, Jason was above and beyond in accommodating me and service, and was just a pleasant dude all around- the type of employee who creates an lasting, positive impact for the course, and retains loyal customers- something that is highly valuable, especially with that type of person seemingly becoming increasingly rare for more and more courses I play at. Hope management recognizes and sufficiently compensates/rewards Jason, as that is an employee you want on your team and who provides a value that is difficult to calculate, but can be resoundingly felt by the customers.
Beyond all of that, I was also highly impressed with the quality of the course. It was still as pure as one could possibly hope for during this season. The course design and layout is phenomenal too. Lots of different, interesting strategies that each hole can be approached by. And the fact that it’s 27 holes split into 3 9-home courses allows for fresh ways to mix things up and that each have their own individual personality.
Glad I randomly chose to play here today, it has entirely transformed my perspective on it and I will be recommending it as a high-end, engaging, fun, unique option for this area! But still.. if it wasn’t for Jason, I’m not sure this course would have given me the phenomenal lasting impact that it did. Service can make or break it for a course, and this further illustrates how crucial having a good team at an establish can be for its overall value.
Disappointing Saturday at the Omni
I play at the Omni a few times per year and usually find it very enjoyable. However, yesterday, there was a group of six people ahead of us playing extremely slowly. We called the clubhouse to ask for Marshall assistance but got no response. This might be expected on some municipal courses on a Saturday, but not at the Omni where you pay 150$. The pace of play was 5 hours for 18 holes.
Golfers paradise
First time playing this beautiful course . It was beautifully laid out, enough of a challenge . Course is very well maintained and well spaced out so play just flows . Beautiful views of the front range . Great cart service , they came by at least two times during my round . Love this course.
Poor Bev Cart
Only one Bev cart for 27 holes, no hot food on cart, cash only unless you give cc until finish of round
Love the greens
Although pricey, great golf course and beautiful greens. Fun to play with great views. The restaurant and facilities need an update though.
Not worth it
Just not worth the money. We aren't picky golfers and understand you need to punch greens. HOWEVER, not having water, ballwashers or bathrooms for 120 dollars a round is ridiculous.
The greens were wet, muddy and sandy and with no ball washers it was a frustrating experience. They rolled poorly after being punched. This wasn't a new small punch, but an old fashioned plugs everywhere kind of punch.
Saw the cart girl once the whole day.
There were jets flying over head constantly and you were seemingly always looking at the back of a LA Quinta inn dumpster. Doesn't scream resort course.
Also we skipped the last 4 holes because there was a 6 group pileup on 14. On a midafternoon round on a Wednesday. We would have been out there 6 hours.
Just a terrible experience. Pay 15 bucks and play at the Greenway instead.
Great Layout
Overall a great golf facility and the layout is challenging and looks good to the eye. With the course being just off the end of a regional airports runways, there was near constant low level airplane traffic and noise. Higher than average cost is the reason I dont rank at 5 stars, even with the noise.
