Kona Country Club

Planned on of my best rounds on the Big Island here. The deals on GolfNow are great and if you have points banked it can really make this an affordable round.

The course has a ton of ocean views. The fairways were in excellent shape. The greens were okay and the sand was a beautiful white and fluffy grain that you could easily work through. Carts were electric engined and had range finders and navigation console. Cart people were friendly and well stocked despite it being mid-day.

The round took 4 1/2 hrs to play. There was a course ambassador driving around, but he only smiled & waved. The meal after onsite ar The View was fine. Good service.

Driving range is really nice, course plats around the resort we stayed in. Beautiful layout, many holes play out to the ocean. It’s a must play

We’re in Kona on a Hollander America cruise, our tee time 1pm so it was a bit tight, at check in the guy set us up teeing off earlier so we could play stress free, great value, some fairways challenging, we would play there again!

First time visiting Hawaii and golf was on top of the list. This course was everything I expected and more.

Loved the scenic atmosphere on this course. 4 or 5 holes could be their signature hole. Course was in great condition and was an enjoyable round for my wife and I. Highly recommend this course if you plan on visiting the Big Island!

Check in was great, tee sheet was a bit of a mess due to a traffic accident and a lot of players showing up late for their tee times. Could have used a starter.

I was able to play solo and take in the scenery. A couple in front of me seemed to be in a rush. folks if you’re late for your time, just get in line and relax. Kinda the whole point of the day, isn’t it. Still finished in 4 hours.

Only minor complaint was no baskets for the ball dispenser at the practice range…

We had a great time. Greens were true. Staff was friendly. Weather was great. 19th hole was a good stop too.

The course was a nice layout with some memorable ocean views. The course had good sand bunkers (unlike several other courses on the Big Island.) The greens were in great shape, but difficult to get the speed correct. Nice ‘19th hole’ at The View.

This hidden gem along the Kailua Kona coast has beautiful ocean side holes, ocean views and a fun layout. Conditions were excellent and the staff is very friendly and accommodating . There is a driving range putting green and short practice hole. There is a wonderful bar //restaurant on premises which has nighttime entertainment on weekends.
