About
Formerly a cornfield, Robert Trent Jones Jr. utilized the natural area and the import of over 600,000 cubic yards of dirt to create the challenging Ute Creek Golf Course. The championship course has a traditional links-style layout that is said to challenge even the most avid of golfers. The public, 18-hole golf course offers 7,167 yards from its longest tees, playing to a par of 72. It features several water hazards, especially on the back nine holes, with five lakes situated on the course and two streams that wind through it. Ute Creek Golf Course's well-bunkered greens and undulating, multi-level fairways provide more interesting elements to the game.

I like this course. Tough at times but fair. Very enjoyable. Last three holes are as tough as any around.

Ute Creek Golf Course is by far one of the best courses I have played in CO. The staff is very friendly and helpful. What impressed me the most was how amazing the fairways and greens were. The maintenance staff kept the course at a impeccable high standard. No where on the course did I see any dead grass on the fairways or the greens. If you have not played this course you are missing out on a great course!

Great course
Course was in excellent condition, you couldn’t ask for a better day for a round. Only problem pace of play was slow. It took us 5 hrs to play.

Beautiful views, great condition
First time playing Ute Creek. Playing from the tips makes for a much longer course. Back nine greens had been recently aerorated so they played a bit slower. Overall, good outing, great value.

Good course, enough challenge and can get enough length of needed. Practice balls are not great and neither is the practice range. Practice green is in a terrible location!

Pretty course
I really enjoyed this course and its condition was really good for early May. My only suggestion would be to loosen up the bunker sand a little. Hard to get spin out of ball with packed sand.

Nice course
Nice course, with no "gotchas". Greens and fairways were in great shape. The course could use more trees (except the little pine on 18 that my ball found).

Ute Creek
Good course in decent conditions for the winter season. Geese scat all over one green, pin placement rotation unclear in addition to, odd winter pin placements. Unclear on pin position and rotation. The group ahead positioned the flag in any of the three holes. Still, an enjoyable round.

The group in front should of replaced the flags to the the placement that they removed it from. We are sorry this did not always happen and apologize for the confusion. Very nice public course
This course was in Winter set-up, no handicaps and missing tee box markers, on a beautiful, warm day. Pace of play was not great as busy on warm "winter" weekend. Course is very well designed and gives risk/reward challenges on 80% of holes. Good practice area and large practice green.
