Royal Hawaiian Golf Club

This is an extremely difficult course but so fun to play. It is so beautiful cut out of the Ko’olau mountains. Course conditions make play even more difficult. Fairways are wet and muddy as well as the tee boxes. The course could really use some grass seed. The staff was fantastic, very helpful and accommodating. Even though conditions were not great, I highly recommend the course.

This was easily one of the most scenic courses I have played anywhere in the world. I literally thought I was in Jurassic Park with jungle views literally EVERYWHERE.

I’ll certainly be back.

Blind shots, narrow fairways with heavy jungle so bring plenty of balls

Stunning place, but course maintenance is absolute joke. Would be OK for some muni, but if you pay all that money you will be very angry finding out you're playing in the potatoes field...

Great course layout and tough if you miss the fairway. The pace of play was good. Only downside is the person working in the shop didn’t welcome me or anything and his mood was just a vibe killer. Cart barn attendants were super friendly and on the flip side, the guy is in the AC sitting down and couldn’t carry half the enthusiasm and positive energy that the others were doing so kudos to them. 4/5 stars

It was amazing with rush jungle and tropical greenery and trees. But golf cart is so messed up and keep telling us to get back on cart path even we are on the right path. It's so annoying. Ruin the whole experience.

This was our first time playing in Hawaii. It was probably one of the most scenic courses I have ever played on,. It was like playing on a movie set from Jurassic Park. The front 9 was difficult because of the narrow fairways. The back nine opened up a little more and restored my confidence that I could actually play this game. I would definitely recommend this course,, if for no other reason than the scenery, which was spectacular. Apparently, this is the wet season, because the greens were very slow. The course was maintained well although the tee boxes need a little work. All in all, I would definitely recommend this course.

The course is not in good condition. Number 4 hole was closed.. The bunkers are horrible . They also don’t give rain check.

It was quite far from Waikiki and the course needs TLC. The pro shop closed before I finished my round. Had difficulty getting an Uber or Lift. Almost got stranded with no ride sharing picking me up. I was lucky that a Lift driver picked me up after waiting for almost 30 mins and there were no golfers finishing the round.

It’s like playing in the jungle. Bring extra balls as it’s target golf. A good test for your game. Not as hard as people say if you play correct tee boxes and you could hit it straight

Great “jungle” course, with challenging greens, and unique layout ! The driving range is closed, as is the restaurant (which the club’s website does not state).
