Not the course if you want to hit driver/woods, especially off the tee. Stock up on the Costco pack of 24 balls before heading to the course

Tee boxes were hard to find at times. Enjoyed the fact that the 2-nines were completely different.

The starter Ernie was very helpful.

Took my wife this time to see the beauty of this place , played great today, they need to put water jugs back on course and open the restrooms on course again ,

Needs clear/visible directions to the tee boxes and hole markers. We were lost on some holes. Other than that the course was challenging but fun.

Went to play a round with my grandson. We had a great day. Although the rough needs to be cut as it was difficult to find our ball when we didn’t play it down the middle of the fairway.

Yeah we get Covid has happened and that the bunkers, etc are unkempt due to lack of staff.

No one greats you to carry your bags, clean etc,

No bar for an after game brief, etc (and it was great 4 years ago). Get it and hope it picks up but the drip in the ProShop was just reprehensible….so sorry to interrupt on two or three occasions you watching the football. Really poor attitude and shame if he is the face of the course!

1st time to play, without any knowledge of the course's layout, had a really good time with the game, challenge, layout, proximity to the majestic mountain, ravines all over, is my kind of golf. I will play it again if given a chance. I was so lucky to play with some locals who led the way and to go.

It’ was my second time playing here , no rain this time humidity was up , no wind but play was great

The course is situated between incredible mountains and has a great layout.

This is a beautiful, unique course, unmistakably Hawaiian! You’ve got to play here to appreciate it. Will definitely play here again.

Certainly different from the coastal choices normally played in Hawaii. Its an interesting drive but worth it.

This is a beautiful course in an undeveloped area. The natural beauty, the elevation changes, I half expected to see King Kong. I’m a 13 handicap and I brought nine balls. Some friendly locals loaded me up with a dozen or so more from the water hazard. Good thing or I wouldn’t have finished the round. Thanks guys! I didn’t shoot my best score (not even close) but wow, what an experience.

Arrived at the course with plans to eat then play. Turns out the restaurant has been closed since COVID pandemic started. Just cold sandwiches in from a cooler and cold drinks or coffee. So, we went to Kailua for lunch. The bathrooms are in excellent condition but like most courses on Oahu the facilities are very dirty and in a state of disrepair. The highlight was the awesome course layout and condition. The windy and sometimes wet conditions made the drives tricky and putting confusing (fast/slow and unreadable greens). Drives not carefully hit meant a lost ball in the jungle and yes it is a real jungle so don't even think about looking. Still enjoyed the course and holp to play it again. Plan to hit 5 or 10 above your handicap.

The course is in the deep jungle on the east side of dramatic mountains. Blake gave us an excellent talk on the course and how to play certain holes. We'll go back on a future visit to Oahu. Budget a couple sleeves of balls.
