Royal Hawaiian Golf Club

The course is in the deep jungle on the east side of dramatic mountains. Blake gave us an excellent talk on the course and how to play certain holes. We'll go back on a future visit to Oahu. Budget a couple sleeves of balls.

Prettiest course on Oahu! Greens needed extra attention, too slow and didn’t roll out true. Still the lay out and beauty trumped the green issues. Take extra balls, very challenging course.

Was greeted warmly by staff. Gave us great a great explanation of what to expect on the course. Other than the ground being a little hard not watered, it was a different experience. But be prepared to lose some balls especially on the front 9. Well worth the price of admission. Definitely would do it again if I ever get back there

Disappointed seemed to me they are going out of business. Carts are old and slow and white tee were pretty well torn. There was no water available out on the course. Driving range is closed. The greens and fairways were in great shape. The scenery and setting is excellent.

I would not play this course again.

Great course, playing golf in a Hawaiian forest, what more can you ask for? Good upkeep of the course, friendly staff, golf cart has great features and beautiful setting. Course is a little tough, narrow and blind spots so bring a lot of balls. Had a blast on this course, worth every penny!

I love this wild course but there was only one way to the 5th hole over a bridge and the cart refused to approach the bridge. The green is surrounded by a ravine and I tried another cart path that sort of went in the right direction but couldn't get to the 5th hole so I couldn't find the 6th tee or the 7th or 8th and after driving down many dead ends I finally found the 9th tee but another group who got there normally was ready to play so I just went to the back nine.

May have been the most awe-inspiring Jurassic jaw dropping course I’ve ever played. Royal Hawaiian was a blast to play a few days earlier and I convinced my wife to let me play again. Great photos throughput the round.

If you want a challenge in a Jurassic park-like setting, this is the course for you. The beauty alone is worth the green fees!

Restaurant closed, snack bar closed, no food in pro shop and no cart on the course. Was a great course at one time, Not now.. Greens were very slow, traps not maintained, tee boxes rough and the remainder of the course over grown.. not worth the drive or the money.

This is one of the most beautiful courses I’ve ever played. The entire course makes you feel like you are in Jurassic Park. The holes are all pretty tricky, with some obscure and tough shots. I’d play this course again any day.

This was an awesome experience on a beautiful Hawaiian course nestled amongst the mountains and jungles. The staff was exceptionally friendly and the opportunity to play here is definitely a memory maker!
