Course maintenance below standard. Traps were poorly maintained. Grass needed mowing in many places.

The course and facilities are pretty beat up. The greens are not in good shape. Bunkers need more sand and maintenance. I'm sure locals pay a lower rate but visitors are certainly overcharged.

Overall was a pretty fun course to play and the conditions where overall great, greens could use a little work but other then that it had some very nice views. I would say the course is worth about $80-100 but would recommend to play here. Call the pro shop to check conditions I came after it rained 2 days ago and the course was really nice to play.

Great layout with some fantastic views. Unfortunately, the price of admission doesn’t match course conditions. Greens were shaggy, bunkers were overgrown, and the rough was unkempt making it near unplayable. Conditions aside, the excellent service from Kevin and his team in the pro shop, and wonderful group of local members I was set up wit would bring me back with hope for better greens keeping.

1st time EVER I am urged to ask for a refund and quit a round…looked fwd to it for 3 moths…what a disappointment

When the staff doesn’t play course, that should be an automatic clue!!! Grass long. Greens are not green. Tee boxes are bumpy. Carts are old. POWER OUTAGE today. No food l! If the ball misses fairway or rolls off green- consider it a lost ball.

Still have had no response back and have not received a Visa Credit for our terrible experience at Hawaii Kai Championship Course. 2 people X $150 per.

By far the worst course we have ever played. Paid $160 for a course that isn’t worth $25. Fairways over grown, greens horrible condition. They had a fleet of nice new golf carts which they reserved for locals and gave this former local girl who is now a nonresident the broken one which needed the gas pedal pulled up to drive. Total shame because Hawaii is only industry is tourism. Should probably treat your tourists a little bit better.

Was not impressed with the whole courses condition, fairways need lots of work. Not very manicured, bare ground every where and bumpy. Greens need attention with spots of unwanted grass.

great course for ocean view pictures and enjoying sea breeze. bunkers weren’t sandy. all 18 greens had some sort of ugliness to it (bumpy, filled w dirt patches, uneven grass & weeds growing). might as well pay the higher prices in Kapolei / Ewa Beach area. $100 rd isn’t worth it here

!Tourists beware!

Conditions were awful! Do not come. Half the course had grass, not a single bunker had actual sand in it.

Positives! Pace of play amazing. Finished the course in 3 hours with my partner. Please note we did play before 7am.

Do not recommend for price as all.

Fairways are fair grrens are good.

Course was definitely not worth the hot deal price. The course is suffering from lack of water.

It’s weird that I played at 2 other courses earlier in the week and how different the fairway and green conditions were. Way more brown than I was expecting and greens were in rough shape. I gouged one of my wedges in a hard bunker. But the no -resident rate was so much more reasonable than many of the courses on Oahu. The staff weee super nice. I still had a great time.
