About
The Gold Course from Greg Mastriona Golf Courses at Hyland Hills is the only 18-hole course at the facility. Designed by Frank Hummel, the course opened in 1959 and used to include the 9 holes of the Blue Course as the front nine. Currently however, both the Gold and the Blue are separate courses. The landscape of the Gold is hilly and seven ponds create a beautiful atmosphere while also adding challenging water hazards to eleven holes. Although the entire course is scenic, the 12th hole is considered to have the most picturesque views. Its elevated tee offers gorgeous vistas of the majestic Rocky Mountains. Greg Mastriona Golf Courses at Hyland Hills is known not only for its gorgeous scenery, it has also received acclaim from golf publications such as Golf Digest.

Very Nice Course
The course and pro shop are great. In town for business and it was a good place to play a local course. The only drawback was the practice mats. They are in very poor shape. Playable but poor.
Good to get back here
It has been 5 years since I played here because golf now doesn’t offer single spots in the hot deals often so when I saw it I jumped on it. Great course
Always a good time
This is my go to course in the area. Usually in good shape and has some of the most varied hole lay outs of any course you’ll play. Some times gets little too goose poopy but at the price of admission it’s just a minor inconvenience. Pretzel at the turn might be my favorite course food ever!
The was just okay
The course was not as in good shape as it has been in the past. And the pay to play on the back dying was horrible
Hyland Hills in great shape
Really enjoyed my round at Hyland Hills. It had been a few years since I played the Gold Course. Challenging with a variety of obstacles and hazards. Bunkers were good and overall the conditions were great. I will be back soon.
Nice day for a 5 hour round
We caught the group ahead of us at the Green on the first hole and waited on every shot for the rest of the day. The marshal showed up around the 13th hole and said it was slow all over and that the group in front of us was not the problem although we never did see anybody in front of them. Love the course but the pace of play was terrible.
Great views nice course
A bit of a drive from centennial but well worth it for a couple of rounds per year. Great facilities but we have only played the Gold Course. The par 3 looks like fun as well as the mini golf! We will keep returning year after year.
No ranger
Pace of place is very slow and no ranger to inforce pace of play. Driving range mats need replaced 10 years ago. Plan on 5 hours minimum to play 18
Greens need some help
A lot of the greens were in pretty bad shape from people not fixing their pitch marks and the previous cup locations not properly fix, causing some bad rolls of the ball. For the price, I was hoping for better greens.
Also, the driving range is in horrible condition, mats are tore to pieces.
But overall, the course was fun with some great views of the mountains in the distance.
