About
The Gold Course from Greg Mastriona Golf Courses at Hyland Hills is the only 18-hole course at the facility. Designed by Frank Hummel, the course opened in 1959 and used to include the 9 holes of the Blue Course as the front nine. Currently however, both the Gold and the Blue are separate courses. The landscape of the Gold is hilly and seven ponds create a beautiful atmosphere while also adding challenging water hazards to eleven holes. Although the entire course is scenic, the 12th hole is considered to have the most picturesque views. Its elevated tee offers gorgeous vistas of the majestic Rocky Mountains. Greg Mastriona Golf Courses at Hyland Hills is known not only for its gorgeous scenery, it has also received acclaim from golf publications such as Golf Digest.

Gold Course
This was my first time playing the Gold Course and it didn’t disappoint. The greens were in great shape, the layout was fun, and there were challenging holes. The snack shack is a nice touch with quick and friendly service. Great value for the cost of 18.
Reservation Not honored.
Had reservation, showed up. Was informed I should not have been allowed to book and due to tourney in progress. A Saturday morning.. no golf for you bud, good luck, book a res with us in the future and we will comp ya, on your a count??? What
Parking lot.
Five and a half hours. There is no reason 18 holes should take this long. Great course otherwise, but wow it’s always so slow. Please pick up the pace of play.
Enjoy the blue course but was disappointed by the gold probably biggest reason was waiting to hit virtually every hole
Gret course
I play twice a week and the layout is different every round-great course and very friendly staff in the pro shop and out on the course.
Great course. Was surprised that there was a top dressing of sand on the greens.

For the most part in good shape, I have a problem with playing with a golfer that can't hit a ball more than thirty yards. This person was very nice and easy to get along with, but Hyland Hills should encourage a player at this level to start on a par three until they can at least hit the ball,
Nice course
We were from out of town. Was going to play a city of Denver course. Found this course instead. Glad we did.
