Eighteen is an interesting finisher. For some it is driveable, but the tee shot must be laser-straight. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 10/20/2024

Course condition
For this time of year, the course wasn’t in bad shape.
Good round
Got caught up in a frost delay which slowed things down on the course. A 9a shotgun might be more preferable in the fall to keep the pace moving. Course was in nice shape and the day turned out great. I've never been a fan of adding the small driving range at the expense of turning the par4 tenth into a short par3. I'm sure the course makes more money from the range. The value was good and greens were a bit quicker than usual which was nice. Bunkers need more sand but your not supposed to be there so there's that. It was a good day with good friends

Great carts!
Wonderful time. Course was nice. A few spots of trouble in the fairways but in general great shape.
The carts are the most comfortable and great leather seats that are curved for each person. Love them.

Range
No. 10 was ruined. Put a range in the first half and turned into a par 3. ☹️
Greens were in good shape but most of the course was sparse (not turf).

Hidden Gem & a new favorite
I try to play a new course in CT every weekend. Twin Hills was given a shot and i have to say, I Love this course; the layout is challenging in places yet still leaves you in great position to score, and the conditions are impeccable. No snobby, arrogant vibe from the clubhouse, just a truly comfortable golf experience / vibe. I'll definitely be playing this course as much as possible.

My new favorite course
Probably the 4th time I’ve played here. Each time I seem to like it a little more. It’s quickly becoming my new favorite.
A couple tough doglegs, but other than that you can really swing away and keep the ball in play and score well. Greens are real nice. Subtle breaks and good rolls.
The only 2 down point I need to throw in are the driving range and the practice green. Driving range is mats and irons only. And the practice green is on a hill and nearly impossible to put on.
